SECURITY ISSUE- Driver Scanner=malware

I am quite upset that at least 1/3 of the time, malware/spyware ads such as "driver scanner" pop up when I dl a game making my machine insecure. I always check "NO" to the request, but there will be many people who get caught in this trap. Support denies that it is an issue, but I don't believe that for a moment.

That's odd, I don't get ads that I have to check a 'No' box for, certainly not pop-ups.

Every now and then I get one with the driver thing that I have to uncheck. It's on the game download page, not a popup. I just uncheck it.

Don't be so quick to dismiss the fact that you most likely have some sort of unwanted malware infection......yes really....believe it!!!

i have posted a similar quick malware guide here on the forums that may help:
http://www.gamehouse.com/forums/support-forum/FunPass-Fetching-License-Issue-id14806

The GH staff is probably right in the fact that these ads you are seeing are not from the games, this site, or it's affiliates and sponsors.

Keep in mind that i do mean "probably" very loosely, based on GH's wobbly past as far as unwanted ads are concerned.

Checking for malware is always the best place to start. If you can verify running on a clean system it is much easier to narrow the REAL problem down.

If you have a clean machine (i mean REALLY CLEAN) then GH may have slipped up some ads.....hmmmmm

Good Luck
