There was some talk awhile back about increasing the size of posts we can make. Any further word on that? Can we at least have a stroke counter so we know where we are?

I agree llst, the 1000 character limit is tedious at best. Months ago we were told that a private message feature was on the front burner. Has that burner been turned off? Of all the perks that can be given here, the PM is most attractive to me.

I'd like both, but with the 1,000 character limit taken off. It's such a drag to have to copy your post over to Word and see how many characters over you are (often only 3 or 4) so you can change your text accordingly. Makes a fun thing time consuming.

Thanks for bringing this up, we have been waiting awhile since that list was made and I was wondering what other improvements were on the horizion. If nothing else to be kept informed, huh. Hope Mr. Bill can give us an update soon.

Hi everyone,

We have not forgotten all the great suggestions you have offered for forum enhancements; we still keep that list very close to us and we bring up the topic at every opportunity.

I'd like nothing more than to tell you that an increase in the post size and/or a character counter is coming soon, but I don't have a time line for these enhancements or any other improvements to the forums beyond the ones already implemented. I promise we'll keep you posted as to progress, as I know it can be maddening at times to work within the character limit while not being able to see how close you are to that limit.

I'm with Poppa about the PM feature. I would like to see both but if we only get one, that's the one I'd like.

Thanks Mr. Bill for checking in with us and hope to hear more about the most awaited features real soon. (hint-hint) and thanks for always looking out for us. We do appreaciate it ya know but we have seen many peeps come and go while waiting and would like to see this forum blossom. So keep that list somewhere on the top of the heap, will ya.
