Hey,

What gives with all the Platinum games coming up this month. Why are we paying for FunPass monthly, when we cannot access these Platinum games???

This is getting really irritating and is starting to be a "Rip Off".

Ii have also noticed that many times there is no regular version released. When Gamehouse started offering Platimun editions they said that the regular version would be released the same day. This way FunPass members could play that if they did not want to pay for the Platinum version. It seems that this has been forgotten. I don't mind not being able to play the Platinum version but many times I do want to play the game. What's up gamehouse, I have even waited to see if some games were a week later but no go it seems Platinum or nothing.

I totally agree, and lately the games they have been releasing are either kid games or re-released games in a double pack. My FunPass is starting to look like a bad deal.

Hi Threerotties, Bpjuarez and Mirkar,

GH has provided now 7 Platinum on total:

Princess Isabella, Return of the Curse: The first Platinum came out before the SE version, GH promised the SE version on a specific date and they kept their promise.
Sacra Terra Angelic Night and Voodoo Whisperer had both the Platinum and SE at the same date.
Empress of the Deep2 Song of the Blue Whale and Stray Souls Dollhouse Story we already had the SE version prior.
Mystery Legends - Beauty and the Beast Standard Edition will be available in 30 Days.

The only Platinum Version we haven't got until today a SE version or a time frame when it comes out is Her Majesty's Platinum Double Pack.
As I know GH, they will provide us with a Standard Edition also for this game, so please have a little patience and again.

Cheers

What about Weird Park - Broken Tune Platinum Edition? No Standard Edition scheduled for that one.

Having a Standard Edition of a game scheduled for release well over a month later than the Platinum Edition is bad enough (and not really in line with GH's original assurances), but now we are starting to have Platinum Editions with no accompanying Standard Editions.

Hi SilverSuki,

My previous message is about the Platinum Editions, which are already provided to download. I haven't mentioned the upcoming Platinum Versions, because in the section of the upcoming games it always gives changes.

Cheers

P.S. I am waiting for the Mystery Legends - Beauty and the Beast Standard Edition within this 30 days and the Standard Edition of Her Majesty's Double Pack, which, referring to GH's past promises, that it should be available in a reasonable time, I still believe, that GH keeps their word in providing us the Standard Edition from every Platinum Version. I just can't afford to buy the Platinum Editions. When I love a game very much, which I have played in Standard Edition, I might buy one Platinum in a year time, but that's it. I have only once bought a Platinum before I played the Standard Edition, that is Princess Isabella Return of the Curse and that was this year, so now I have to wait a year for the next Platinum buy.
If they would give us the chance with the coins, as example 30.000 for a Premium or a Platinum, then it will be more then one Platinum game a year I can have and that would be really awesome from GH. With the Funtickets the members can already purchase Premium and Platinum Editions with 2 tickets, so it would be really fair, that they provide a possibility for the FunPass Members as well, I am still waiting....

I am having a very difficult time using up my credits. In the last 10 days, there have been 6 premium games, most of which I previously purchased on Big Fish as standard editions, some at least a month before Gamehouse offered as premium editions.

12/2 Weird Park - Broken Tune / purchased 11/27
12/1 Voodoo Chronicles - the First Sign / purchased 10/31
11/30 Deliciouss-Emily's True Love - not my kind of game
11/25 Mystery Legends: Beauty and the Beast / purchased 10/21
11/24 Committed - the Mystery at Shady Pines / purchased 10/31
11/23 Cradle of Egypt Premium Edition / purchased 11/23 as standard edition

I have been trying to use up my credits so I could join the monthly FunPass and play whatever I wanted to, whenever I wanted to. From the above statistics, I can see no point in joining the monthly FunPass and am seriously considering canceling my FunTicket membership entirely.

Hmmm. Did I get this right? You can't use up your credits at GH because you bought the games elsewhere. Good grief. What do you expect?

Why don't you just get Funpass and stop paying for games? If you look at what you bought a year ago, how many of them do you really play anymore? And they just junk up your computer.

I could have bought wierd park at Big Fish but waited for Gamehouse, now as a funpass member, I have to pay for it? Funpass says "UNLIMITED PLAY, ALL GAMES". "You don't have to worry about paying for individual games."
This is false advertising.
Also, their gift certificates for Amazon are out of stock. Surprise Surprise. I for one am done. Back to Big Fish for me. At least they are honest.

Where on earth do you get your upcoming game information? And find your quotes? Well, good riddance to your bad attitude. Hope you come back when you're feeling better.

Hi Silversuki,

I agree with you, the Weird Park - Broken Tune has also no Platinum scheduled. I apologize, but this Platinum was released on the 2nd of December 2011, so way after my message from 26th of November 2011.

Cheers

My quotes come from funpass. The part where it talks you into joining. Go read it. There is nothing in there that states "excludes Platinum Editions". It says and again I quote "ALL GAMES". You don't even know me, so no reason to be so rude. I am just stating the facts. This is misleading. I'm feeling fine by the way, just don't like to be cheated.

We must have gone to different reading academies. Here it is.

"- FunPass is our original service that lets you play nearly all of our games for a single monthly (or yearly!) subscription price*. Just connect to the Internet, click on any FunPass designated game on GameHouse.com, download and install the game, sign in to FunPass, and play. There are no time limits or restrictions, and you never see in-game ads. Additionally, you receive a 30% discount on Premium Edition and Platinum Edition games, and 10,000 free GameHouse coins each month on your billing date.

*Platinum Edition games are excluded from online play with FunPass. In order for GameHouse to offer you these games, we are not contractually able to offer them for FunPass play. We will be offering standard versions of these games, which will be included for FunPass play, as soon as those standard editions are available to us."

And here is the link. http://support.gamehouse.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/787/session/L3NpZC81ZjdsN0hLaw%3D%3D

It's OK. You don't have to apologize to me but you might want to apologize to GH.

Look, I have no grievance with you but go to the first page and click on joining funpass. There it says all games and this is what gets people to join. It should say, on that page, that it excludes platinum, not on your stupid link. How do newcomers find that anyway? I joined because of the premium editions and now they are turning into platinum editions. It just doesn't seem right, people just signing up wouldn't know that. This is what is misleading, and this is why I am leaving. YOU are the one that should apologize for being so rude, but then I noticed you are to other people too. Guess it's just in your nature.

I agree with Monkeygamma and I am also feeling very well! There should be NO apologizing to GH, they should be apologizing to us UnFunPass members. There are hundreds of unhappy members, just read the blogs. And those are just the ones who took the time to complain, how many are out there really? Obviously GH does not care because things just keep getting worse daily. Maybe they make enough money off their advertisers and really don't need FP members. But now long will the advertisers stay with most everyone so upset and feeling cheated. The coin scam and platinum games shows the potential unethical business practices that GH has for the future. Thing seem to change rather suddenly, maybe they have a new management team. If that is the case, please bring back the old team quickly.

Hi.
I don't like platinum games, and I am a fun pass memeber.
Platnim games have gotten going because those who develop the games have decided that they can make a lot more money by offering platinum editions.
I don't like them because of the large amount of space that they take up. Some are bigger than the Nancy Drew series that are offered.
When Sandlot games sold out one of their replies was that they were not making any money on downloads.
Gamehouse just offers what the develpers offer them.
It is the develpers of the games that should be contacted.

What games were they? The same thing happened to my daughter and she had no idea where it came from. Her husband is an IT, so was able to get her pictures off, but then had to reformat her computer, to get rid of the virus.

Platinum games have onlly been out for a few months.

Here we go again. Two more premium editions that were available as standard editions at Big Fish over two months ago - Magic Farm 2 - 9/5/11 and Lost Souls, Enchanted Paintings - 9/28/11 (collecter's edition was available on 8/28/11 if one wanted to pay the extra). This was after a break of 2 time management and 1 match 3 games and 3 days with NO new games at all since the last premium edition. I certainly can't justify spending the extra funds as I am retired with limited income and I would suspect there are a lot of people like me.

And Yusef, when I can acquire games one to two months earlier than Gamehouse; good grief - why on earth would I want to wait months to see if Gamehouse would get those games at all when I can buy them on Big Fish when they are on sale for $4.99 during one of the many sales they have. And it seems that Funpass does not allow us to play the premium games anyway, so why pay the Funpass price only to have to purchase the premium games as well?

I am sorry but Big Fish games never does offer their collector's editions for $4.99. There was one sale two months ago when they were have trouble with their game manager and wanted to keep their customes.
Eash site has their good points and bad points. I can name a lot of things that I do not like about big fish games.
Number one when super granny 6 came out with an update Big Fish games did not get it while gamehouse did.
I can plaly Luxor 2 here and I cannot play it there.
Big Fish games has dropped more games from their list than they talk about.
Every one raves about Big Fish games and that is fine but it should stay on thier forums and not be brough over here.

This is getting ridicules...I cancelled my FunTickets cause I couldn't use them fast enough, now GameHouse is only releasing Premium or Platinum games of which we who PAY for FunPass can not play?????!!!!!! What is wrong with this picture. I have noticed they are releasing games later than others are and when we do get them we can't play unless we buy the game...why are we WASTING our money on GameHouse if we can not play unlimited games as they advertised. Guess I am going to have to cancel FunPass too!!! Sick of spending money and getting no enjoyment!!!!

Posted on Fri Dec 09 16:00:34 PST 2011

Hello everyone,

As always your feedback is appreciated. I do want to take an opportunity to clarify an important point about FunPass membership benefits:

FunPass members get unlimited play of all standard edition and Premium Edition games as well as Bejeweled 3.

Our Platinum Edition games are special versions of games that many of our customers have requested and that were not available to GameHouse previously. In order for GameHouse to offer you these Platinum Edition games, we are not contractually able to offer them for FunPass play. However Platinum Edition titles have corresponding standard editions and all standard editions of Platinum games are available for unlimited play with your FunPass membership.

We make every effort to release both the standard and Platinum editions of a game at the same time. The availability of games as Platinum editions and their corresponding standard editions is determined by the contractual agreements that we have with game developers. Our goal is to release the best, highest quality content to all members of the GameHouse community as soon as we have it available from our developer partners.

Thank you again for your comments and thanks for playing at GameHouse.

Best wishes,
Bill
