My hubby and I were getting things ready for our trip and pulled into a parking lot for a final pit stop, I started walking accross to entrance of the building and I triped on a cement block.
Smashed my face , head, neck and left side bad. blacked out for a few min's.
Ambulance, fire rescue, and security all came out to check on my.

Well thanks. I need you (hope ya know that)
so after being stubbon about going to the hosp. my hub decided to return home instead on porceeding with our plans. on the way home (an hour and 20 min ride) he said i pasted out and couldn't get a respnse out of me. he pulled off the road to check on me and i couldn't move at all or talk (would think that was a good thing) it scared him so much that he went straight to the er.
fire and rescue had to put me on a back board to get me out of the car. ran a bunch of tests. pumped me full of med's and after 36 hrs i can walk and talk again but have to stay in bed until see my doc on monday for more tests.
they first thot it was a stroke but didn't find a bleeder in brain
found swelling and concustion(sp?)

I am so glad I have a loving mate to take care of me, it doesn't hurt that he was a nurse either.

I'm so sorry that happened to you. Thank god he took you to the hospital and I know that had to terrify him because just reading it scares me. Please take care of yourself I don't want to lose a friend especially just after finding you. Are you having to be watched ? I wish there was something I could do for you. What about your trip can you still go ? Listen don't be up and about alot take it easy and for god's sake don't be left alone in case something happens make sure you have someone with you to help you out and do what the doctor's say PLEASE. I can't believe it I'm so very sorry. I'm here for you as long as you need.
