I admit, I don't really want to buy a computer unless its really necessary. A few weeks ago, I purchased a Geforce 6200 512mb AGP video card and threw it in this Dell tower and MAN it beats Intel 845G and Radeon 7000 VE. It dramatically sped up this computer beyond expectations and then some. I got my $10 Visa prepaid card in the mail yesterday for its rebate and it only cost me $29.99 after rebate. I heard this card is going to be discontinued soon so get it while you still can.

Which is it. One day you have a new computer. than a new laptop. Now you are fixing up an old one.
With the size of downloads and the graphics sometimes it is just easier to buy a new one.
I really love my new windows 64 bit.
It will be replaced in december though with a new all in one.
My husband will get this one to replace our vista which is just about out of memory.
If I ever had to take in back through system recovery, I couldn't.

For as smart about computers as x2wolverine is, I wouldn't be surprised if he has a few hanging around. Am I right, x2wolverine, that you've got an assortment?

granny, I just read your post about the windows 64bit. I purchased a new computer recently with windows 64 bit. Why will it be replaced? And how will it affect us who have it? Mine was programmed with IE9 and I had all kinds of problems so the tech guy moved it back to IE8. I still have my XP running and cheat, using it for my strategy guide or walkthrough for those large file games.
I think I misread your post at 8am this morning, and didn't finish my cuppa yet. Or is that your personal choice to replace your 64bit.
