Cool we got our 10 year a laptop last year and boy does she put it to good use. She loves to play the game Blockland where you build and can play in all these different places it's a online game you pay one time and you play forever and there are other people on playing it's pretty neat she loves it. Yea my kids like to make a mess to and they do it so well even with no gift wrap still had'nt figured that one out yet but I guess it's cause they are kids and that what they do and I love to see their reaction anyway so the mess is'nt so bad.flyingsquirrely wrote: No way, they like everything wraped. In fact they get POed when there are two things wrapped together. My kids love making messes. We got the kids clothes, movies, Barbie, Barbie clothes, interactive animals, games, etc. We just bought my 7 year old a laptop for her birthday last month.

oh yea mine are like that as well. We get the dog a little stocking and he is what is this and jumping all around the place it's a trip. So did we ever find out who the mystery person was ? and what their deal is?flyingsquirrely wrote: Every year we use our camcorder. It's fun. I don't know about your kids but about an hour after opening up their gifts they are bored already. Santa came for the boys. I bought them two little stockings and put three chestnuts in there. It is funny watching them trying to figure it out.

I'm with you on that it's getting to be such a hassle and it last no time and yet you run and worry about what to get for who and then bam it's all over in an hours time. Well I'm cooking a pork loin, potatos, corn, green beans, and butter beans and I don't know about the dessert my stepmom will be bringing that probably a coconut cake or pineapple. What about you ?flyingsquirrely wrote:gmac1007 wrote:yea finally what about yours ?flyingsquirrely wrote: I have no idea but what the mods said. Are your kids in bed?

Not yet. I will put them under before I go to bed. I am making a ham, stuffing, green bean, corn, biscuits, and cherry pie. Easy this year.
Hello ROOM How are you feeling tonight?

mooma wrote: Hi Room and All... sorry I never seem to be here when you're chatting. We had 12 relatives over for dinner today (whew! SOOO glad that's over, lol) and tomorrow we go to my sis-in-laws to do it all over again. I would so enjoy just staying at home and leisurely opening gifts. Sure, it's nice to see the in-laws, but it always seems to be for like three or four days in a row for obligations. Whole-day things, not short and sweet. I think next year I'll go to that island I dream about and weave baskets instead. Hope you all have a beautiful day tomorrow, with lots of laughter and love!
