I would say that is watching the parades and the games. I have decided to start a new one this year and that would be to decorate the tree..
Sorry for the loss of your mother. It has been since 1971 that I lost mine. I was too young at that time. My step-daughter lost her father when she was just seventeen.

I am SO VERY SORRY to hear about your mom.
Believe me when I say I know how you feel.
My Dad passed away on my birthday and I couldn't be there for him.(2000mls away)
I have stopped celebrating on that day, so I do understand.
I hope it gets better for you, since you have a family to make new memories with and keep your mom's memory alive for them.(yes or no)

My husband and kids have never met my mom. After I pulled her plug, I died with her. I never feel like doing anything. I go to school and carry on as a mom in robot fashion. I have good days and bad days. Do you know anything about PTSD? I wish there was a cure because I would love to have family traditions and more enjoyment with friends and family.

yes my husband has it-related to his injury during Desert Storm.
He has been on many different med's but they don't work.
He stills has some very violent moments.
I try to be understanding and supportive(buttttttttttt)
You need someone to talk to about your feelings, that much I do know.
it will help, if you need to sound off sometime, I'm here.
