OK...How long is GH going to tease us about this one? I keep checking upcoming games and this one has been listed as 60 days FOREVER!!!!! Is there really such a game. or do the folks at GH have a really wicked sense of humor????????

Hi Kittyluvr22,

I am also waiting for that game. I keep my energy for the game and am not wasting it on frustration. Patience is a virtue I had to learn to get. On my life path I came across this all the time and the better I managed it, the better I felt.
Nevertheless I resent, that GH promises a time frame in their announcement of upcoming games, which often never happens at the promised time! I saw this by this game as well, it just sticks on 60 days. Maybe it is an error and should have a 3 in front of the 60 and should read 360 days (I apologize, just being naughty.....)
I hope I made you, Kittyluvr22, smile a little bit with that wicked joke!

LOL..Thanks for the chuckle. I agree with you completely...about having patience, about losing it over Gamehouse promises and MOSTLY about adding the 3 to the number of days. Oh well, hopefully they'll release it before old age and senility sets in.

Gosh I've been waiting for this game for an age! To be fair to GH, it's not really their fault. I'm sure they get messed about by developers and distributors who are probably always making 'next week, at the very latest' -type promises! Not to mention the last minute glitches, patches and fixes...not all of which even get fixed in time, as we all know! So I do feel for them a bit.

Hi Kittyluvr22,

Please don't give them this idea! Imagine, when all the games have as time frame just Someday. I think we wouldn't love that at all......

We had our fun time, let us now be fair:

I agree with SilverSuki, it has so many different people involved in buying a game in. Not forgetting all the last minute changes; that I can imagine, that by a lot of delays it is not GH's fault at all.

We went through this same thing with Mortimer Beckett and the Lost King, remember? When it finally did come out, tho, it was worth the wait. That is the only Premium Edition of a game I have ever bought and I sometimes do the jigsaw puzzles that came with it when I want to play a game to relax or just for the sake of playing something.

OK...Lagoona and SilverSuki...I can concede your point and even agree with it to an extent. HOWEVER!!!!!!!! After seeing that there were problems and delays, couldn't they have had the courtesy to offer an explanation and an apology for the delays. They could blame the developers, the Devil or even Gremlins and I'd be ok with it. Just don't leave us hanging......and hanging......and hanging.....and hanging......and.........

I agree with you with the point, that we need a little information. Now imagine when GH informs us:
This delay is caused that the game isn't finished on time.
This delay is caused because we have changes to the game.
This delay is caused because they haven't done all the changes
This delay is caused because there are still some changes to be done.
This delay is caused by the seller.
This delay is caused because the promised Mac version isn't done on time
The list goes on and on

Sometimes the delays are not based on one issue, but several, that is the reason of this oh so much overdue dates. So they get a date, get an other date and then an other date and so on.....
What would you think as gamer? oh GH has just excuses after excuses, it is never their fault....wouldn't you?
So let us just have patience and when the game is here enjoy it a lot more, because we had to wait so long for a really good game, like llstjohn (thanks for that input - it is oh so true), wrote in her message.

By the way Kittyluv22, GH has issued some new games, maybe you can try one of them in the meantime.

Thank you for your comments and questions about the availability of Campfire Legends - The Last Act. We appreciate your keen interest in this game and we're mindful of your patience in awaiting its release.

There are so many factors that contribute to a new game's release - a number of those have been noted among your posts and we appreciate your understanding of those factors. Nonetheless I want very much to provide you with an update on the game's progress.

Tomorrow (Friday, June 10th) I have a meeting with our Content and Merchandising teams, whom I'll ask for a progress report. I can't promise I'll have a release date to offer you but I hope to be able to give you an estimate.

Hi there - Happy Friday!

My meeting with the Content and Merchandising teams did not yield any firm date for the release of Campfire Legends - The Last Act. But your points are well taken about placing the title under the '60 Days' category on the Upcoming Games list if we don't yet have a release date, so we created a new category "In Development" that better represents the status of the game. Have a look here:

Granted the new categorization does not offer any more insight as to when the game will be released but it is an accurate representation of the status of the game and we believe it's better than to continue showing it as projected to be available in the next 60 days.

Whoopee!!!!! The game is now being developed. OK...I can live with that, no problem. Thanks, Bill, for your input, for the status change, and for proving that the GH Gods really do hear us. To everyone else who joined the discussion, thanks for the comments and the humor. It helped turn the frustration to fun.....sort of. Lagoona, thanks for the advice about new games.....but I have already played the ones that interested me. So...I'll settle back with some Butter Pecan ice cream, and PATIENTLY wait for this game to finish being developed. Have a great weekend everyone!!!!!
