It's kind of time to retire this Dell after so many years, so I am hoping by August 1st when I look at my local Best Buy that they have something in the $249 range because thats my absolute maximum that I will pay, plus a little more for tax. I'm also keeping our environment in mind as well by reducing energy used while computing.

Sorry Russ - you must be envious or jealous of my trip to Vegas in 2010 with Best Buy![]()
I don't work for them nor will I sell you the monitor for $20. And NO I don't have to lighten up, you always tortured me on the other forums which you were banned from.

yusef wrote: x2wolverine--You're talking about Best Buy. Maybe you can answer this question. I bought my laptop at Best Buy, and when they configured it, they added a Best Buy Software Installer. Do I need this? I have never purposely used it, but I'm wondering if it does anything in the background that I don't know about, or if it's just an extra piece of junk on my computer that I can uninstall. Do you know? Thanks.

The Best Buy PC app is bloatware in my opinion and does nothing then allow you to digitally purchase select software titles to your PC without having to go to the store for it. You can remove it from the control panel.
