Friends of Crystal Valley, I am in the forest with a sleeping giant to the left of me and I have his magic but I'm facing a fallen tree. The only things in inventory are; rusty bucket with water, glove,medalion,flashlight and the giant's magic. Game will not let me use any. Any advise?

OK, I figured out you need to use a hairpin at the front of the house in order to complete the tutorial which then shows you how to use items....you have to use one in order to learn how to use one.

The game is interesting though. I'm in the forest now.
