Why is the mac version not available through GameHouse? I have found the trial on other sites, but would rather buy it from this site.

Having trouble understanding the puzzle to open Grandfathers box. Have tried lots of combinations, can't figure it out. HELP!!!

I know this sounds pretty stupid, but I cannot get the little myan dudes where they go to I guess get into the labrynth. Help?

I am stuck at the hotel. I cannot find the last buckle - it says it is on the cash register, if it is inside, how do I open it? I can not move forward, but all the hints say the buckle is there. Anyone else have this problem? If not - any suggestions?

Same problem. On the walkthrough, there is no cash register, only a standing ash tray. Good game, but this seems to end it for me.

To try to answer two questions here: At the Mayan door, once you've punched in the numbers (and they go from zero at the top middle, to 1-2-3, etc. to the left and right of that and down, then the needle in the middle moves. When you move the needle to the W(est), then the other directions, those boxes near the needle open up, and you put the Mayan blocks in them. When finished, the labyrinth opens up. There is a little "map" of the labyrinth on the bottom left that helps you to know where you can go (up, left, right), and you expand the "map" as you move around. In most of the "rooms" you collect a symbol and put it in your "inventory." You finish the labyrinth, and the rest is pretty clear, as I recall. Hope this helps.

To Arlenemae: you saved my game! I saw the Utube and knew exactly what I had done wrong (start with the numbers from the bottom of the Mayan door and not the top). THANKS a million. After that, the rest was a piece of cake!

Im am stuck in the Labryinth I cannot find the last stone, I do have the skull and the rest of the stones,I have search over and over for the last one,SOMEONE please HELP me I cannot find the last stone......Thanks

Hi all together,

I have just recently joint the forum and like to help. I know your questions are some time ago. Nevertheless, if someone of you haven't finished meanwhile the game and are still stuck in the labyrinth go back to the forum, where I have created a new topic. Answer to labyrinth.
It's a small and very easy walk through. If you want to - you can follow my directions and you will find all the stones including scull.

Hi Redsox0407,

I have written a small and very easy walk through for the labyrinth. You can read it in the forum with the topic ANSWERS TO LOST IN THE LABYRINTH. At the bottom of your screen - left side of the navigator you have a small plan, which shows you every room you have visited in the labyrinth. Go back to the start of the labyrinth and follow my directions. You will come across your missing stone I promise you that one....

Hello - I am also having the same problem. I finished the game (a really wonderful game it is, too), then tried to play it for the second time and got stuck in the Lobby trying to find the last buckle. All the hints say it is where the cash register is (lower right side in the zoomed in view), but when clicked on (and all around it), nothing happens. I don't know if there is some way to open the register or if it is a glitch. Does anyone know? Thanks for any information.

Hello-
I contacted the company that made the Clockwork Man and they said the cash register showing up instead of the buckle in the Lobby was a program glitch. The only thing to do is to start the game over again. Hopefully it will work correctly the next time the game is played.

This game keeps stalling out. Then, it takes three years to reload. Anyone else with this problem? The game will go along just fine, then the next commercial stalls it out again. This stalling out issue is getting old fast.

yup. i can go 1 to 3 rooms and the game gets so slow that i have to get out completely and come in. ... sometimes the front action screen with the dirigibles(SP?) is black. clicking buttons takes forever to register when it gets slow. seems like memory or something needs to be cleared after EVERY save. will try the hour demo later and see if that does better.

ARRRGH !!!!!
based on the specs it should run ok for me.

game just gets tooooooo slooooooooooow ... takes forever to move around page and clicks to register. and most times the front animated screen with airships id black but with music.

xp sp3, 756 mb ram, 64mb intel vid card, 1gb free HD,
going to try timed.

the timed (with ads ! why ? they cost time !) seems to be running o.k. ... doesnt seem to slow down ... however the full night scene took awhile to come up. and the dream? (objects floating around, near intermezzo) too. something (full scene? with music) though was black.

ads in timed mode are a pain. never had ads in a timed game before.

i found another version (without ads) and it seems to work perfectly.

my only complaint is that this different version was NOT compatible with gamehouse one and it forced me to start over. and if i rety gamehouse it forces me to start over again too.

the same game should be compatioble with any other version of it !

players take note if you intend to buy
make sure you get the version you started with so you can continue from where you left last time.
