If you haven't placed the obsidian cylinder on one of the statues, you might have lost it at the door, when you left the labyrinth. Go back to the labyrinth, go inside the last door and check if it is somewhere around there on the floor. If not go one step forward and you will be in the room, where you had originally found the obsidian cylinder, just check!
