Why can't I register the FREE Daily Games?

Just downloaded the Free game available for 8/16 "Catwalk Countdown", but when I go to the register game screen I get a message saying I can not register the game and it stays in trial mode. If this is a free game, why isn't it either set as pre-registered PRIOR to downloading? Or why can't I register it using the "Registation tab?

So how do I register these games that are supposed be the FREE Daily versions available for download to my PC?

You can't register a game until after you've purchased it (eliminating ads). If you don't pay for it, it remains free (with ads) doesn't require registering.

If you want to keep playing the free game with ads, you don't need to register, ever. If you buy it to get rid of the ads, you have to register. It's not difficult. Free ->just play. Buy->register.

I agree with Sandispoetry -- why is there even a "buy" option for games that are being advertised as "free"? It seems like completely false advertising otherwise. And if I download a "free daily game" and then, say, discontinue my membership sometime in the future, will I still have "free" access to that particular game (whether it comes with ads or not)? (Otherwise, I don't see any benefit to downloading these "free" games whatsoever.) I can't find any explanation on this issue anywhere, so I appreciate this feedback!

P.S. If there IS somewhere on this site that explains the daily games better, I would appreciate that info, too! Thanks-

I think ManiacalZebra made it clear: If you don't want to see the ads, you may BUY the game if you choose. I suppose the "buy" button is there to give people that option. False advertising? How silly. The free game doesn't have anything to do with your membership. You can play it as long as you want; it's supported by the ads.

Exactly. Once a game is downloaded, it's yours. Period. The difference between free and buying is ads. If you stay with the free game, you will have to deal with the ads. If you don't want the ads, you can buy it, if you wish. You are under NO obligation to buy a free game. It's your choice as to whether you will put up with the ads or not.

Free games are offered under a one day , one time, one chance deal. If you download the game successfully to your computer, then you can play indefinently with advertising until you format your computer. In this case you would have to wait until the game is offered for free again or purchase the game.

Notice the heading under each game "UNLIMITED TRIAL TIME BROUGHT TO YOU BY OUR SPONSORS"
