Every game in the "new game" section that I have downloaded in the last few days wont run! They load just fine, then run for anywhere from 2-5 minutes before shutting off completely on it's own. Apparently from what I'm reading this is happening to a lot of people with different systems and setting, and that GameHouse has said it is a problem on their end that needs to be resolved. WHEN will this happen? Is it only happening to FunPass members? I am hoping that these forums actually get read by the tech support and maybe they can post some answers. I'm about a day away from canceling my membership and I've been a member for a few years now.

All I can say is DITTO DITTO. FIX IT ...NOW ... and let us know what is happening. What is causing this. what is causing the delay. This has been going on for too long

Yes, when? Out of the ten last new games, one has worked properly for me. This is beyond acceptable. You're well on your way to losing customers-- permanently. Other companies put out the same or very similiar games for less. If Gamehouse is unwilling to fix the issues, we will be leaving. There's absolutely no reason to pay for a non-working system.

I emailed support telling them that ALL of the newly released games are shutting down after playing for a few minutes and got the standard bot response of "we would like to fix this issue, please send the information of what game, what is the error message, and what happens when you try to play the game"

Apparently not only do they not read the forums, they don't read our support emails either. It seems that this is only happening with people who have the FunPass, anyone else out there having this issue who isn't on FunPass?

I'm also a FunPass member, and these shutdowns are happening to me as well. It's getting massively annoying, and I'm *thisclose* to cancelling my account.

OMG!!! I just spent about an hour on the phone with one of Gamehouse's techs and according to him they have no idea there is this issue...He has got to be kidding....after taking me through a dozen different things to "fix the problem" because of course it had to be with my computer not their website...geezzzzzzzzz...I kept telling him about these messages on the forum and that the problem was at their end...after the torture of dealing with the tech he said thank you very much and would pass the PROBLEM on to someone higher up the food chain....he also said they were updating the website...good luck folks..bu the way...his 'FIX" on my computer didn't work..the games are still shutting down on their own..

Thanks for the update cjs611, so emailing and calling isn't working. There has to be a way to get through directly to someone higher on the food chain. Anyone know of a way?

I don't want to lose my gamehouse, I love it and have been on here for almost three years. I like this site because I can just download and play the games anytime but don't have to keep them on my computer or have codes. I get tired of them and can remove them then download again later if I want to play the game again. Are there other sites like this, or are they all where you purchase the games and have to keep them saved on your hard drive?

I'm not a Funpass member and I thought the errors were because I wasn't a member. I put up with the stupid ads and still can't play, if all of you are having problems as well I'm glad I didn't Join.

Everyone,

I have been monitoring the various threads on this topic and I am combing through the individual posts to summarize the reports for our Technical team to aid in their research of this issue. I will post updates as I learn them; may need to consolidate, perhaps close, some of the threads and/or start a new "sticky" topic to keep this information in one central location. I hope to have an update for you - if nothing else to advise the summary of my findings - later today.

In the mean time I thank you all for your replies and for your patience. This issue is being reviewed at a high level.

Best regards,

Bill

Everyone,

GameHouse continues research on this issue to identify its cause and develop a fix for it.

I have posted a new topic, which is a "sticky" (it will remain visible at the top of the Support Forums), to track this issue and provide progress reports.

Please follow this URL to the new topic:

http://www.gamehouse.com/forums/support-forum/UPDATE---Certain-Games-Closing-Unexpectedly-After-Brief-Play---PLEASE-READ-id4024

In the interest of centralizing new customer comments and GameHouse updates on this issue I am locking some of these previous threads and referring everyone to my new "sticky" topic. Unfortunately I am unable to relocate posts from previous threads on the subject to my new "sticky" topic.

Thank you,
Bill
