Is Gamehouse going to add a simple uninstall option like there was in Real Arcade?

and please fix the game downloader so Firefox users don't have to search the installer, that was possible in Real Arcade why not here ?

thanks

Hi Lennart,

Yes, we plan to add an uninstall option. I'm not sure what you are asking about searching the installer. Can you clarify?

We are actively working on an improved experience for downloading, installing, finding and managing games. We appreciate suggestions from customers, like yourself, to help us prioritize features. Keep 'em coming!

Thanks,
Craig

Hi Craig,

that is good news
Firefox doesnt allow you to open a file right from the net you have to save it first.
It goes into a folder that I designated for downloads. So I know where I have to look for the installer before I can execute it. The difference with RA is that somehow they got Firefox to open the installer without me having to go to that folder and executing it.

It would be very nice if the GH downloader worked that way too.

I hope this clarifies it enough.

Another thing I noticed.
I started redownloading all my RA games that are still available but I stopped when I noticed that they get installed again. So I end up with two versions of the same game
So before I end up with two versions of a lot of games I wonder how long i will be able to keep playing them from the RealArcade page that is still available?

thanks again

Hi Lennart, Have you taken your computer through a system reformat or have you bought a new computer? If the games are already downloaded there would be no reason to redownload them. All of my games moved, If you click on my real arcade games they wil be listed. Some that have become unavailable will have contact support by them. If you click on my gamehouse games, more games may be shown as being unavailable for redownload. They wil all still play.

Ah, yes. That is a known issue (bug actually). I will check with the development team to see when they plan to address it.

Penny is correct, you should not need to redownload your games. Sounds like you've figure out that you can see and play your RA games from http://www.gamehouse.com/myrealarcadegames

You can keep playing them from there as long as you like. You are free to download the GH version if you want, but there's no need to replace games already on your computer. At some point in the future, we hope to have all your GH and RA games available to play in a single list.

Hope this helps! Post back if you have more questions or suggestions.

Thanks,
Craig
