Hello momuska675---------Thank you for posting at GameHouse.

We will certainly help you. The default screen resolution for GameHouse games is 1024*768. So, changing the screen resolution should help. Check the instructions given below:

Changing the Screen Resolution:

NOTE: Changing the screen resolution will change your screen appearance.

1. Right-click on your desktop.
2. Click Properties (or Personalize if you are on Vista or Windows 7).
3. Click the Settings tab on the top (Display Settings if you are on Vista or Windows 7).
4. Check the screen resolution.
5. If it is not 1024 by 768, move the slider until the screen resolution is set to 1024 by 768.
6. Click Apply and OK and then try playing the game.
7. If it is not working you can revert back the previous screen resolution.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,
-Jason

Hi! Are you able to get it run regular in Window or High Definition mode?

On a widescreen display, there is a way to correct the aspect ratio of your display, but it letterboxes the screen as if it was on a CRT and presents itself in a perfectly square image.

Okay I have tried everything except kick it to have the strech go back to normal for the games, every thing else is okay such as pictures, videos but I just downloaded a game it was not streched it was a nice box. I did try and unstalling a game and did a restall but it came back as streched. What could possibly be holding all my old games.

It sounds like your Video card driver is corrupted or not up to date . Try uninstalling and re installing them.

Good luck

I have a wide screen with resolution of 1920x1080. When playing some games in full screen, the sides are blacked out, but the cursor will not go all the way to the left of the playing field. If I go to windowed mode, it won't go all the way to the bottom. If an object I need to click on is in the very lower left of the game, it's impossible to get at, period. I really hate having to constantly switch between full screen and windowed mode, only to lose the ability to play if I need to click on the lower left. It's happening with more and more games. Changing the screen resolution only puts much of the game off of the screen entirely. I may have to stop buying games, since I can't play too many of them.
