Hi, I downloaded Sacra Terra-Angelic Night. Says it downloaded fine but when I try to open it to play error message comes up saying "the application failed to initialize properly (0xc0150002). Click on OK to terminate the application". I have deleted and redownloaded with no issues. I have windows XP and play most of your games without issue. Also tried the new game Treasure Hunter and got the same message. any thoughts on this?

Make sure you have the absolute latest service pack for Windows XP. Currently the latest version is SP3.

Also I researched your error and this usually indicates that you have a corrupt installation of a game. I suggest you follow the following troubleshooting steps and try again to play your games , it should help:

Uninstalling and Reinstalling Games : http://support.gamehouse.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/938/kw/Uninstall

And are you sure you have all the latest updates from Windows Update? Sometimes an older version of Direct X is not sufficient enough for your computer which is why some games do not launch. On Windows XP, you can download from the following link to update your Direct X: http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=35

I did exactly what you said and downloaded direct x from the link you provided then redownloaded game. NO CHANGE. says install was completed, waiting for game to launch. it never launches. I try to manually launch and get that same error message. any other suggestions?

No offense Jason but emailing gamehouse help is a waste of time. I have actually cancelled my subscription in the past because of lack of support. I have never once gotten anything resolved by emailing or calling gamehouse support. I will just not play these games that I cannot open and if it keeps happening, I will cancel my subscription.

Oh and by the way, I also cannot play Mystery Novel. that is 3 games now that have the same error. Maybe time to cancel subscription before next monthly fee is due.
