Where are My RealArcade Games?

I too lost some games was able to go back to the receipt and redownload one of them. One of the other games that I lost was over a year old and will download but will not play. It says on the receipt that you have 1 year to download so thinking since it was almost 2 years since I bought it might have been the problem. Try this and see if it works for you. It shows up under my gameshouse see my real arcade games tab. All I can say is good luck. Had I thought about it I would have had all my games downloaded which kills my small little computer instead of uninstalled and reinstalling them when I want to play.

You should call 866-733-1228 and have them sort this out.

To everyone else that has "no longer available message" tell them of this, and they replaced most of my games (couldnt replace them all however)

Its worth a try.

Call customer suport???? Are you serious???? Wasted 15 minutes of my life on hold and when I did get to speak to someone wasted another couple having to spell anything I wanted because of course the help line is located in India where everyone speaks and understands English fluently (that is sarcasm by the way). Then when they got tired of talking to me they just went silent and refused to answer even a simple "is anyone there?". Go ahead call the customer support. Everyone should waste thier time at least 20 minutes a day.

Only about 4 of my games transferred over here out of over 100. So I started re downloading them. Then it says that they are only one hour demos. So I click on the register/already purchased button and it then asks m if I want a google bar. After I click no it says it has to log in to the internet and tries too. But I am already online downloading the games. It than says it can't log in and asks if I want to try again.

What is going on?
Why does it ask me each time if I want a google bar?
Why does it try to log in when I am already on the internet?
This is HORRIBLE.

Since you did not answer in the other thread and just locked it I will bring these questions here. Now that they are here ac you answer them, because I still don't see an answer.

I am getting angrier by the second with this running around. You could have given me a direct answer on the other thread.

I can't combine my accounts ~ all I get is the following error message ~

'Account sign in was interrupted
We're sorry. There's been an error processing the information. Please try again. For help with this issue call Customer Support at 866-733-1228 or click here to chat with live support.'

I have 'chatted' with live support on three different days and a lot of help that was. One said I was outside the US region and couldn't migrate; other two just said that their IT dept knew about the situation and I would receive an email when sorted ~ still waiting. I have tried again (21st) same problem. Why wasn't real arcade kept accessible if there was a problem. I am not able to access any of my real arcade games as I keep getting directed to the gamehouse website and asked to combine. I just want some straight answers to when this will get sorted. I can't see why it should be taking a week to sort.
Please can you put a smile back on my face?

i am FURIOUS regarding this realarcade/gamehouse situation. all of the games i purchased are from realarcade. i now find that 9 out of my 22 games are no longer available. i have them already downloaded, but because of the way realarcade offers its games, you DO NOT download the install file. this means you have no control over reinstalling a game if you happen to buy a new computer or reinstall your OS. it must be done from their website. sure, you could go into the "mygames" folder on your computer and copy the individual game folders, but the game is not likely to work if you copy that game folder to a new computer. it would be the equivalent of going into "program files" and copying, for example, the "microsoft office" folder and trying to paste that onto another computer. i'm understandably OUTRAGED as the next time i reinstall my OS--which i do every few months--i won't be able to install these games, games that I OWN!!!

This appears to be one of the worst executed mergers that I have ever witnessed. The parent company usually goes to great lengths to make sure that their existing customer base is well taken care of. Real seems to have abandoned it RealArcade Customer base and just let Gamehouse have it's own way with all of the features of the website. It took several exchanges with incompetent customer support folks to get some issues squared away. But mostly what I am upset about is the "well that's just the way it is now" attitude. It's like we don't count.

Hi,
I hope I am not telling you all something that has already been posted but; I found that some of my Real Arcade games were not listed at Gamehouse.
This is after the pagination issue was settled. I could not find a link back to my Real Arcade "My Account."
Then looking through my old "Favourites" link in IE8 I came across this link.
http://real.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/7695/tabName/tab0/support_type/Null?board.id=RealArcade&page_of_message_id=13837
When I clicked on the link I found the Real Player customer support page.
I signed into the online support with the "My Account" link and;
There were all my old Real Arcade games ready for redownload.
All my games were downloadable and installable except for two; Scrabble Blast and Master of the Skies - The Red Ace.
ALL these games run in Windows 7 Professional 32 bit edition.
You may have to use compatibility mode for some and "Run as Administrator" works best but they all work.
I hope that this helps those who couldn't find their games.

Sorry to everyone having problems with the RA-GameHouse merger and continued lack of customer support.

Two thumbs up GH - I actually like NOT being forced to upgrade my old RA program and have found out that I can still download games and play them through the old RA executable, even purchase and unlock games through old RA AND have them appear on my old RA MY GAMES guide. The only difference now is they no longer show up on my RA Redownload Games account page, but they do show on my GameHouse page.

GameHouse, want to keep all of us long time RA GamePass members happy? Here's a few ways.
~Offer credits/refunds to those who lost games in merger. No questions asked, just do it.

~Do not force upgrades on older programs still in use.
~Do not remove our ability to download/play/purchase through old RA player - you will lose my newly acquired business for sure.
~Definitely do something about your My Games page. I hate having to scroll page after page until I reach the game I feel like playing.
~Don't change the 2 free games per month, unless you decide to make it 3 or more free games per month. I finally feel like I am getting my money's worth with my GamePass membership again.

Two thumbs down & 2 middle fingers up to RA for the past year of grief the web-based RA 'upgrade' gave to every Vista 64-bit user who was left out in the cold due to RA never bothering to fix the known compatibility issues.

Happily for me, GH is Vista 64-bit compatible & their program actually works, but sorry to say it, Old RA executable is still the best for playing and easily locating all my games.

Long time RA GamePass member, happily merged to GameHouse.

I contacted GH and I was told "if your games are older than 18 months old
you are out of luck " I wasn't even told I could get credits for the games
I lost 14 installed and who knows how many that are not ! You are right, we don't seem to count at GH !

I am also having missing games. I did as you instructed, where I did find MOST of my games. However, there are still are some missing!! Since I own over 100 games on real arcade, I'm not sure which ones are missing (I know some) and I cannot get into real arcade to find my previous list (I have found the list gamehouse says I have)!!!!! One would have only hoped we would have had the opportunity to take inventory BEFORE the move so we would have had a means of recovery other than "he said, she said". Obviously this problem has not been resolved for some of us. Not to mention, at least in my case, a few hundred dollars having been lost! I also, do not see any of my lost games on the list of unavailable games.

I'm new to all of this posting, Im having problems with my games like you all say "I follow the instruction they give you to reinstall your new games" I contacted customer service and they only gave me 2 free credit/coupon for the 5 plus games I no longer can get and they gave me 3 -50% off coupon NOT FAIR. my most fustrating part is some games I can play and in the midlle of the game it stops and gives me an error and shut down, other games I use to play and all of a sudden it no longer plays gives me an error.
if anyone was lucky enough to get help from customer service.... GOOD FOR YOU! I sure didn't. Whats amazing is all customer service reply is to "CONTACT CUSTOMER SERVICE"
unless they are willing to give you your money back, why bother, done that, been there, no results.

What happened to Pachisi and Dominoes? from Hoyle Board Games, played with REAL people too.Recently I found a free download version of the same Pachisi and Dominoes games,. The free download, I downloaded last week, let me play 5 logon sessions free, then asked if I wanted to download and buy the games online, so when I clicked to buy and download, I was re directed to Gamehouse, where both games I just finished playing were nowhere to be found? I spoke with a tech guy named "Josh", who said that Realarcade and Gamehouse are no longer together and that Pachisi and Dominoes are Realarcade games and not Gamehouse games. I searched high and low to find Realarcade websites that may have these two games, but none has them either. These games are still out there but no one seems to know who they belong to, how to purchase them, or where to find them. Does anyone out there know anything about these games or where to find them?

I don't know why you would want me to "redownload" a game I have already paid for and then give me 60 minuets of gametime and expect me to pay for it again. Sir I think your actions are dispacable and your business tactics just short of thievery. I am currently looking into the original agreements along with printed out terms from your original site. Should I find a breech of terms or contract I think I will be getting ALL my games free from now on.

Posted on Mon Dec 28 16:06:29 PST 2009

Hello 'Jimbo9948' --

I appreciate your taking time to post your concerns, but I'm unclear as to why you need to re-download any game that you have already purchased.

As we have posted previously in this thread, during the migration of membership accounts from RealArcade to GameHouse all records of previously purchased games were transferred. No changes were made on our customers' computers. All games that existed on your computer at the time of the account transfer would have remained intact.

If you believe that there was a problem in transferring your account information and your previously purchased game records, please contact GameHouse Customer Support. You can call them toll-free on 866-733-1228 or email them via support@gamehouse.com

Thank you,
Bill

OUT OF 29 GAMES I HAVE LESS THAN 6 I CAN PLAY NOW.

I too am having problems in downloading and installing the patch to make my regestered games full version. I have cancelled my gamehouse subscription and am hopeful that I can receive support from the Game publisher of my registered games.
GameHouse / Real Arcade need to resolve this issue immediatly by providing unlock codes for games, that were bought by subscribers, in the form of an e-mail with the original unlock codes in it to the registered user.
All games purchased should have the unlock code provided as well as the auto unlock feature.

Sounds like we are all having the same issues with Gamehouse. The best thing to do is cancel with Gamehouse. I still have my games on Real Arcade. I just hope the computer doesn't crash and then I will have nothing. Clicked on game and then asks for me to download. I go to redown load and get the 60 min. trial. I have tried this with several of my 100's of games. I hope the issues get resolved or I too will contact Attorney General and Better Business.

Well after a complete crash of my computer I thought I would have a go at redownloading my purchased games. I can't even find them now!! I know one game ,out of all the games I had, was available as I had been playing it. Now all I can get is the 60 minute trial. I now have none of my 'purchased'games. Already said it's pointless contacting customer support they don't give a damn!! This site is terrrible and they will never get any of my money.

Well, I guess I'm in big trouble, because I have a new computer, and no old Realarcade game installer on it. Some of my old RealArcade games dont show up, even if it says they are purchased. When I log in to Real arcade page where I can redownload my games, it says I have to download a demo of the game. When I do that, I still can't register the game.

The message I get when I try to register when I open the game is: You do not have the priveliges to register this game yet.

I had cancelled my real arcade account due to moving out of state. I was a member for about 4 years. I can not log in to find my games that I had purchased. I had purchased a game every month and now it looks like I am out of luck. I will not rejoin, because if this happens again we will lose the games and be out the money.

I know this won't help anybody but let me tell you of my experience on another gaming site. I lost a game I thought I had bought through them, anyway after a couple of fast and legible emails from them it turns out I hadn't bought it from them,( still a mystery who I did buy it from) but they gave me credit to buy it from them and it cost me nothing. What an excellent site. Different to this one, even though you can see I have purchased games they still won't do anything about it! Take a lesson gamehouse perhaps you won't lose customers then!

I have several games from Gamehouse, one of which was a dud...Feeding Frenzy. Today I decided to try and re-install it to see if there was a new edition without the freezes. No such luck. But here's the kicker.... I can't register it even though I bought it from GH a few years ago. It's no fun playing a game when you know you can never finish it. I have been shopping at Big Fish games for a few years now and never had a problem. I like them better because they sell the same games cheaper than GH or RA. Good luck with getting your games back.... don't hold your breath.

Hi everyone like most of you I am Pea off too. I have had nothing but problems since game house took over never had that problem with real arcade. When I am lucky to be able to get into the site to buy a game it shows me i have purchased the game but will only let me play the demo I email and complain but where does it get me no where with real arcade once you brought you gat to unlock your game and bingo no problem. I think before they took over they should have prefected the site first or maybe real arcade should have taken over game house. there is no where that I can find on this site live chat support like real arcade. I cannot ring as I am in australia for any help. Just sick of the way we are treated.

The terms of the merger between GHouse and RArcade are unknown. Nevertheless, two corporations cannot merge and fail to honor the creditors of either. Similarly, if you have paid for games with Real Arcade, there is a legal questions of whether they can just take them away from you without compensation, such as refund or credit on the new site. Consumer complaints can usually be found online. In some states, you can fill out the forms online. TO DO THIS. Google "(Name of your state) Attorney General", then follow the prompts to their consumer division. IF you need to identity the companies, name BOTH Real Arcade and Game House.

I paid good money for my games, and dont feel i should have to pay for them again. Not only that, accourding to you site, several of my games are no longer available. I was in the process of reinstalling my games on my new computer, and having difficulties with a few. Now according to your site, i cant get them at all, so you tell me what the solution is. I want my games, and i dont want to have to go thru all this bs to get to them. I did not have to go to all this bs before.
I paid for the games I can no longer use on your site. What happened to MY GAMES? I am not responsible for this confusion. And I hate the pop ups too!

Regarding the games, they were not removed from your computer. If you click on the start menu and go to RealArcade , they are still there.
