Cannot Install Required Resources. Your user account doesn't have sufficient access privileges. You will need to run this game once from an administrator account. Afterwards, you will be able to run it from this account.
That's the message I get. I am running this app from an admin account. I have two admin accounts set up on this Mac Mini and neither of them are successful in launching Bejeweled 3.
Any ideas on how to get past this error message?
I'm running a Mac Mini 2.3GHz i5, OS 10.7, 4GM RAM, 500GB HD, Intel HD Graphics 3000 384 MB graphics

Our QA Team's in-house testing showed that the games they already had installed on a given Mac computer did launch and play normally after they upgraded that same Mac to OS X Lion. We believe that experience will be the same for our Mac customers; however there could be some factors at play, specific to one person's or another's system, that may cause a different experience.

The game details say "Compatible with OS X 10.7" so I JUST purchased and downloaded it. However it won't open with Lion. I'm feeling disappointed and kinda ripped off.
Please solve soon.

I see that a number of people have mentioned a problem with the fact that PowerPC (Rosetta) applications aren't supported. I downloaded Mah Jong Medley a few days ago and it won't open because of that. I just double checked to be sure that it did say it was compatible with Lion, 10.7, and it does. Well actually it's not if the Power PC thing is throwing a wrench in the works. I'm suffering withdrawals from not being able to play! Do you know if this will be fixed soon? Should I try to return the game or just wait it out for the fix?
Thanks!!

I still haven't upgraded to Lion on my MacBook Pro (although I have on my iMac), but I wanted to tell you how impressed I am with your responsiveness on this issue. In my anxiousness to use iCloud, I wanted to upgrade the laptop, but I knew the games might be an issue, and after reading this conversation, I'm really impressed by the attention to this issue (though I'm not ready to take the plunge on the laptop yet!).
Thanks for watching out for Mac users--I will continue to be a loyal customer!

You guys have yet to mention that we who OWN your games will have some compensation in replacement of compatible versions or some new games. If my house phone doesn't work because a new system has been installed and mine is not compatible, do you take away my phones? my house? my cat?
What are you dong for your PAID customers and loyal followers?

bonnieinpixels wrote: So, I have a question that I am unsure has been answered or not in this thread as everyone seems to be complaining about Lion support, but when a game 'upgrades' to Lion compatible does that suddenly make it completely incompatible with anything older than that? Because I've been running into EVERY SINGLE game you can play with FunPass being uncompatible with my PPC mac computer even though it says '10.4 or greater' [or something to that effect]. I have 10.5, so in theory it should work -- but it DOESN'T.
Could you at least update each of those pages to say that they won't work on anything older? I've downloaded five different games and all of them have said they aren't supported by my architecture. IF you have older versions, could you please direct me to the right place to find them because there isn't anything at all on each of those pages.
Thanks in advance.

We are making significant progress to tag all of our Mac games as being compatible or incompatible, as the case may be, with OS X 10.7 Lion. We are on track to update, by end of day tomorrow (Wednesday, July 27th), each Mac game's download page with the respective compatibility note. You will be able to see whether or not a Mac game is compatible with OS X 10.7 by reading the notation under Game Details.
I believe this will be a better solution than referring you to lengthy lists of games in the Forums or in a Knowledge Base article. And, as the process of validating game compatibility with OS X 10.7 is dynamic and ongoing, updates to individual game compatibility notes will be easily accomplished.
The compatibility notes that I entered today will be 'live' on our website via overnight processing. In my update to this thread tomorrow afternoon I will provide specific examples for you.
With my continued gratitude for your business and your support,
Bill
