Princess Isabella difficulty

The door to the second floor will not open. Only one of the dials is there and it will not let me look for another one. It tells me to set date but I can't set it with only one dial. Can anyone help me?

Sounds like a Gameplay issue. You might want to look at the game forums section of this community for more help.

You need to go through the kitchen and into the cellar, then towards the fountain in the back, when you solve all the stuff back there make the fountain work by clicking the side you are facing, make all the piping connect together to make a continous flow,once you do you will get the second dial for the upstairs lock. But since I couldn't go up yet i continued on the main floor. Oh and once you free the gardener you will know the date to set set the left dial to the month (like if it had said September it would be the number nine because it is the ninth month) then the other is for the other number given to you by the gardener. Enjoy now that you know how to solve it. Oh and you will need to save the last person in the mirror before you get to do the marble puzzled door in that hallway on the first floor. Now have fun saving your people.
