Ever since you switched to Gamehouse, I can't purchase any games with my game pass. I can download and play a demo, but when I try to purchase the game by following the directions from Gamehouse, all I get is YOUR TRIAL TIME IS OVER. Gamehouse tells me to redownload the game and register it. That still doesn't work. That is why I cancelled my membership. I NEVER had a problem of purchasing games with Real Arcade.

It is very easy to get to your games that are already downloaded. When the two merged, your games moved also. You can find your game click on computer: local disc: there you will see my games that has the real arcade games in it. This whole folder can be sent to your desktop. right click ti and click send to desktop same thing with the gamehouse games folder. Right click it and click send to desktop. No reason to go to the gamehouse main page when the games can be played from these two folders.

I loved realarcade and miss it a lot!! I have only downloaded 2 games since they combined, and have had nothing but issues with both. The games were better and there was actually support, when you needed it!! If this continues I will cancel my account and go elsewhere.

Not altogether true! After my games supposedly merged, they just plain disappeared and if I try to go to the old real arcade site, it automatically redirects me to GameHouse.
And for my GameHouse games, the re-download of my purchased games only gives me the trial game. ARGH!!!! Not happy at all.

Hi All,

Thank you for your concern. We regret to hear that you are unable to find the Real Arcade games after the merger. In order to find the RealArcade Games you need to click the Button "RealArcade My Games" under "My GameHouse Tab" & under "My Purchased Games" it will show all the games that you have purchased from Real Arcade and GameHouse. It is not mandatory for you to re-download the games from Gamehouse. However, if you decide to do so, it will give you a free trial in the first place where in you have to go ahead & register the game by clicking on the register tab to get the full version.

If you still face any problems finding any purchased then shoot us an email to help@gamehouse.com and you will receive a reply within 24 hours, or you can also call us at 1-866-831-5895. Our hours of operation are:

6am -6pm Pacific Monday through Friday
7:30am - 5PM Pacific Saturday and Sunday

Thank you

Jason

I understand that when two sites merge there will be temporary problems, but it's been a while now and even us Gamehouse members are having problems with games. I think your technicians or "game geeks" need to figure out why we are having problems now that Gamehouse and RealArcade are one site. "Why are people having download problems", "why members can't play game when their computer has played many many games with no problems before." Think your computer game "geeks" need to sit down and have a problem solving session. I have been here at Gamehouse on and off for many years and still will continue to be a member, but I am also getting tired of worrying if a game will play or not. I'm a so-called "computer nerd" and I always check the game requirements before downloading a game, but still have problems with a few games that should play with no problem. Please please get together and have a "bull- session and get it right.

Thank you,

Wendi

I agree also...I have to re-download every game I purchased from Real Arcade and then I have to start all over once I begin to play..it does not save your progress. What is that! Does anyone else have this issue or am I just totally stupid..if I am, fine!...am looking for any advice to understand this new Gamehouse site.

I tried to buy a game for the first time the other day from gamehouse. I have bought several from Real Arcade. The game tried to buy wouldn't work and they ended up charging my card 8 times for the same game. I have sent an e-mail and got no response, I went to customer support online and they couldn't help me. Today, I called and still didn't get a straight answer. I NEVER had this problem with Real Arcade. I told them that I would NOT purchase anything else from Gamehouse. I would love to see Real Arcade back AGAIN!!!

Luckily I have not had the problem mentioned by others (although I lost several games in the merge that are not available on GH), but the problem I DO have is with games quitting to desktop if I play them after signing in to my GH account. They often do this after just a split second (I can't even get through the splash screens to the game, let alone play), and often so badly that they actually crash my computer, and I have to restart it.

All the games play just fine if I have not signed in to my GH account.

The crashing has started to affect my computer, it keeps having go-slows and freezes now, and I don't dare to sign in to my account any more as my computer is getting worse after every crash-fest. So far no replies/solutions offered by GH.

It might be something with your firewall. I would check with the technical people.

Yes I agree, every time I think gamehouse is coming good 'wham' there is another problem, like if you go to redownload one of your games because of a virus or you had to reformat, you have to register every game before you download them, and its even harder when you put in your password and it comes up saying login failed. I have changed my password three times and it still will not accept the new password when having to register the game, yet I can log into gamehouse with no trouble

Wow, this quote was from almost 1 year ago to the day and we former RealArcade users are still having issues. I just played one of my old Delicious Emily games all night and was almost to the end when it dumped. No problem, or so I thought until I tried to find the link on my desktop and it wasn't there. Went back to Gamehouse and the only place to access it was in the download area of my old RealArcade games, which I didn't want to do--I'd already done that. Hmmm, now I find a link from Gamehouse that says if you've already downloaded it, you can launch it from your quick launch, only I don't have the Real file they mention...(cont)

cont...hmmm, not sure if that's because this is a new computer since I bought all those games, or if it has anything to do with my Vista OS? So then I find, after much searching, that it should be in my c:\Program Files\Gamehouse, which it is, but that executes into the Gamehouse "FunPass", "Register Game", Free Trial window. I've already Registered it, but I'm a good sport, I put in my email address again, and password (for which the remember password is ticked), but I reenter it, and it launches! Yahhh, I think, but then it wants a new name--it did not save!!! I tried this 3 times just to ensure I wasn't missing anything. So, I'm going to be calling GH because their online Help is crap. I want to know if I'm doing something wrong, and since I bought/own these games why aren't they being downloaded to my desktop or better yet, why doesn't GH have a useable dashboard type of a program (like RA had, or any number of others such as Big Fish, iWin, Pogo)??? This site is schlocky at best.

And, case in point, this goes to my schlocky assessment of GameHouse, you can only have 1,000 characters per post (reason I had to cut my last post into two). What's that all about?

Not a happy camper! 8^(

Somehow it looks like Florence's posts are mine. They're not. I tried to Reply but she had too many characters and the blue Reply box disappeared.

So what I was trying to ask is what was her question.

I recently went to play my games and guess what? none of them would play. i quit after the merge because of all the issues I was having and because I had to redownload all the games I owned! And for a long time have not played those games, now it seems that things have changed again and I have to redownload all the games again, even though they are all downloaded onto my drive already. that does not make any sense to me at all that I will have to download every game I bought again just to play them.

I spent a lot of money on these games as I'm sure many others have as well. just extremely frustrated as I was under the impression that once I had these games, they were mine and I could play them at any time without having to be online to play them. guess I was wrong there. Not impressed with any of it and just wish that GameHouse would have kept their word and would have thought things through before making changes that screw up everything for their customers that they don't seem to care much about anyway.

They are yours. Just sign into your account and go to My Games and redownload what you want to play. I've downloaded only a few because I'm not interested anymore in most of the ones I bought from RA. That's why I do funpass now. It was kind of a waste of money buying all those games when I replayed so few. Also, when you redownload your games, you get Reward credits.
