Mortimer Beckett - The Lost King Problem
Do you have audio problems with any other games you play? I would try updating your sound card drivers... sometimes new games require the latest sound card software.

Just to add further to the mystery, i have just run the intro video seperately in RAD video tools (Bink Video's official player) and it ran perfectly but still won't work properly in game. How bizarre is that?

Tried this. Still no luck.
Any help would be appreciated Gamehouse techs as NOBODY has looked at this yet

I have the identical problem. Choppy sound, sometime loops like a broken record, mostly during animation scenes. I have a Creative Soundblaster Audigy 2 sound card (up to date drivers) and have lots of memory. I've never had this problem before in a game.
Anyone have any idea on how to fix this?

Come on GameHouse, i am getting seriously annoyed with this error and the fact that you guys haven't looked at it after all this time. I am gonna have to go elsewhere if you don't come up with a solution soon.

Demo worked great...then purchased and downloaded...now all the interactive talking is gone, just the words.. It still plays background music and the game works great otherwise. I have a brand new computer with audio and sound cards..so I think there is a prob with the game. I've tried to delete the game then download agian but still no luck...Anyone else have suggestions....Maybe it's cause i have Windows 7......

I have bought a copy of Mortimer beckett but have a major problem with the sound. It is alright until i start a new game and then it becomes jumpy, cuts out and freezes on words.
I am running Windows XP Pro with Service Pack 3
any ideas what's causing this?
