So a week or so ago I had some computer problems and had to rebuild my harddrive. So now I'm in the process of redownloading my games. I noticed Little Shop Big City wasn't on my list for redownload. I also noticed that it's not on the retired game list, so I contacted support. I was told that I could redownload it from my account on Real Arcades site because it apparently needed the Real Arcade Player thing. So I went to my account with Real Arcade and redownloaded it. My problem is that when I click on it to play I get the following message:
Microsoft Visual C++
Runtime Error
Program: C:...
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.
I went online to try and find any help that I could. One suggestion was to update my Direct X which I did. I have Direct X 9 now I believe.
I had the same problems when I switched to a system using Windows Vista. The only thing that worked for me was installing and running the games in compatibility mode. Compatible with windows xp service pack 2, and run as administrator.
No, it would be another window open. We had a computer serviced, he put on windows xp to replace a bootlet that had been on. When that happened, some how settings of some things on our computer would not allow real arcade to download. It would now happen with gamehouse. Have any settings been changed?
