I downloaded this game today and when I try to play it, I get a syntax error message. What is the solution to this problem?

I use Windows XP

Thank you for posting at GameHouse. The game "Jar of Marbles" is not officially supported in Windows XP. You may have issues in playing the game as Windows XP is not listed under the system requirements. Please check the below given link to find the system requirements of any game in GameHouse:

I'm going to download this to my Windows XP SP3 machine now. I will let you know the results.

Here is my test machine:

Intel Pentium 4 1.5ghz Processor
Nvidia Geforce FX 5200 AGP 4X 128mb Graphics Card.
1GB Ram

This game appears to be ad supported which may be generating HTML errors depending on the configuration of Internet Explorer on your computer.

You might want to try this first:

And if that does not work this:

Some of the old games don't run on W7, and I imagine it won't be long and not too many games coming out will be compatible with xp. When I bought my W7, my scanner wouldn't work anymore. Not compatible. XP (even though it was my fave OS and I hated to give it up) is pretty old by now. Actually, I haven't been able to give it up completely yet. Kind of attached to it. It's a laptop so doesn't take up too much room in the closet.
