Games that don't play all the way through

I just downloaded a free game of the day, "The Tiny Bang Story" no matter what I do I can't get past the first level. I get to a certain point in the game, the game freezes like an ad is going to pop up and the game shuts down. I am just so frustrated at finding games I like and I can't play through. Any suggestions other than update my drivers, cause I just did it again today, there were no updates

Hi loopy,

I realize how hard this could be. A simple uninstall and reinstall of adobe flash player helps!

Okay, thanks Jason. Must warn you though, next time, make sure the person you are telling to delete Adobe is not using google chrome. If you delete Adobe flash player, then try to re install it with your google chrome browser open, it won't let you install because Adobe's site INSISTS that because you have a google chrome tool bar then you have Adobe Flash player. So, then you have to close google chrome, open IE and re install Adobe Flash. Not hard, just freaked me out for a minute, because trust me, Adobe Flash was GONE!

I will update you if this addresses the issue with this game. Thanks again for the suggestion.

And nope, that didn't work. It plays for a few minutes, then just shuts down, says it encountered an error and needs to shut down. Just going to delete the game.

Hi loopy,

We understand how tough it could be when a game does not work as intended. We tested the game on our end and we were able to play the game without any glitch. So, try playing the game in a different compatibility mode by following the instructions given in the link:

Thanks, but none of this works. I'm not getting a black screen. The game opens fine, plays, but when it is time for an ad, the game shuts down. I have updated Direct X, adobe Flash, my drivers are up to date. Thank you for your help.

Having the same trouble here. The last two free games I downloaded get so far then shuts down after the ad plays.

I've been having similar problems recently with the free games and I note that there are some comments about something like this happening with Lilly Wu. It seems that some of the ads cause a glitch which shuts the game down: "The Otherside: Realm of Eons" also does it to me. Could it possibly be because I use Firefox as my default browser? I've got IE loaded, but not as default.

Sorry - edited as I've thought of something else. This has only been happening quite recently, although I've been using Gamehouse free games for a long time. Could there be a change in the way the ads are transmitted? It seems to have coincided with the longer ads (although shorter ads also cause the glitch).

my partner has been playing the 7 wonders latest game {magical mysteries} she has played it several times now and when she leaves the game ,everything she has done that day disappears......in other words she has beaten the "bimini" and when she returns it makes her start it all over again ! can any1 out there help us ?? she is using updated versions of firefox and active x
