Funpass Custormers: How about a class action lawsuit against Gamehouse/Realarcade

I am becoming less satisfied with the quality of games purchased through Gamehouse, whether by money or Funpass tickets.A month does not go by that I don't encounter a technical problem with a game not working right, crashes, etc. I have been a customer of RealArcade since 2002, & had 2-3 faulty games. However, a month doesn't go by that I don't encounter a faulty game from GameHouse. I have at least 10 games or more that I can't play, because GameHouse did not renew a contract with the game creators.
So I am inquiring of my fellow gamers of Real Arcade/Gamehouse, and/or newer members of Gamehouse who want to join a class action lawsuit against Gamehouse "if you too have lost the ability to play purchased games or due to technical defects of said games?"
Who wants to join? Please contact me at cherie_j_mcnaul@cox.net if you are interested in seeking legal advice.

I have been with Real Arcade for along time also and haven't had any problems with any of the games that I bought from them. I have been with gamehouse now for sometime now since they took over Real Arcade and I haven't had any problems with any of the games that I have bought from them at all and I have bought all of games from them. I play alot of games from this and other sites too. Are you really sure that it is the game and not your computer because a friend of my tried to play some of my real arcade games on his computer and they wouldn't work for him either, so if I were you I would make sure that it wasn't my computer first before I start a lawsuit over video games. I would have someone else try the games on there computer then you know it is the game and not your computer and if it does work for them well then it will save you the time and pain I guess. I hope this helps you. Good Luck with everything

Good lord. If I was that unhappy I'd just stop subscribing. There must be something you like better about GH over any of the other game sites, or presumably you'd just have switched to one of them?

You could contact GameHouse to replace these titles you previously purchased. They may offer you a credit toward a new game. They have an excellent Customer Service department which you can call toll-free.

Some of the older games are not compatible with Windows 7. If it's an oldie I absolutely must play, I fire up the old XP and play it there. I renewed with Gamehouse after a break because of the crappy games at another site where I had a rental contract. Maybe just no real good games coming out these days. A class action lawsuit about crummy video games, that's funny.

Sorry, double post. Don't see a way to delete it.

Are you serious? If you are, please try and use spell check before getting your lawsuit typed up.(Custormers-should be Customers) Besides what I hope was just a typo, a lawsuit over video games or a company that doesn't supply you with games you like, is completely frivolous. People like you are the reason our courts are too busy to take cases of actual substance and importance. Just by allowing this topic to stay on their forum, shows you how dedicated and fair Gamehouse/RealArcade are to their customers. They could have just as well deleted your post, but instead, they give you the opportunity to air your opinion. There aren't many companies like this around anymore, so I think I will stick it out with them. Did you contact customer support to see if they could help you with your problem games? If you do, I know from past experience, they will be more than happy to help.

I'm sorry, I remember when windows game out. I had just bought my computer. I had to hunt for games that I could play. Most were for windows 98 or 95. I have windows vista on one maching and xp on another. Give it time because in about two years windows 8 will be one the way. Most game play if not it is the developer at fault for not upgrading their games and systems.

You a lawyer? All my games work fine, but I do have a problem when exiting games, but oh well. I started to have a problem with Fishdom 2 Premium the other day. I did the chat and they refunded my money. I purchased the regular edition from Bigfish with a coupon code and it continued where I left off.

Gamehouse really isn't that bad and they will work with the customer. You should try to get some help with your games from them instead of thinking about a lawsuit.

So very true!

iWin's website not only deletes your posts for expressing an opinion, but also bans and removes your account.

GameHouse is an excellent site and provides awesome customer service.

Compared with iWin where uLose.

Love the analogy--"Compared with iWin where uLose." LOL
I can't imagine the original poster was serious with this one. It's just too silly.

Oh lord are you whacked or what? Why don't you contact customer service first before shooting off your mouth! I belonged to another online game service and the downloads often had viruses! Gamehouse costs more but it is well worth it.

I rarely visit the support forums here but might just do so with more frequency as the original post here is one of the funniest things I have read in a long time. Oh, and cmc, just a bit of advice if you read this post. Edit yours and remove the email address as listing it can only cause you grief. By the way, you have no grounds for a class action suit.

GameHouse has communicated with the original poster via email to ensure that their questions and concerns have been addressed to their satisfaction. We believe that further discussion here is not necessary; thus the thread is being locked.

We appreciate our customers’ business and their support, and we always welcome their feedback via our Support channels or via email to ForumAdmins@gamehouse.com.

Thank you.
