P.S. Check your computer's scan schedule. Sometimes when a scan starts, it shuts down a game if you don't have your computer set in game mode.

Thanks, it's not the scan, i have that done in the morning while i drink my tea. It is so irritating and it's been happening for almost 2 months now. I removed most of the games and am giving up on Gamehouse, it used to be great but something has gone wrong

I would download a game from another site just to see if it worked before I assumed that it was gamehouse.
It might be the fault of your antivirus or adware.

It's too bad you're giving up on GH because I doubt GH is the problem.

Unfortunately , there is one game site in particular, iWin Games where AVIRA refuses to remove iWin.com and its games/ installer from the Adware list. No matter if you have up to date definitions or not, they still flag their installer as AdWare.
