Can't move the cursor in Delicious Emily's Holiday Season.

My cursor won't move at all after I start the game. However, it works in windowed mode but the game is very choppy. So much so that I can't play it. Is there any way to fix this?

I love this game. But the problem is my cursor won't move at all after I start the game. Please HELP!!!!! I want to play this game. I have tried everything..installed/reinstalled..no use.
