Can I use my debit card???

I am unable to process my order for funticket membership, I keep recieving the message "unable to authorize your account for purchase" what does that mean, I double checked all the information. I am using a visa debit card. Please someone help me, I been wanting to play the full version of this game for hours now!!

That's how I pay on my acct. too.

I haven't had any problem using my mastercard debit card.

I'm having the exact same problem here.

It's not a mastercard debit.. it's a visa debit and for some reason Gamehouse doesn't seem to want to authorise from that.

I don't really want to get a credit card just for playing this kind of game... but I like using the one bank account only. I don't get myself mixed up.


Was this issue ever resolved?

I am glad you like it by GH, it is a very good site and there are a lot of nice fellow gamers as well. I actually think, that everything works out for you.

I had the so called Blue Visa Card, which debits from my account. I could pay my FunPass Membership with it. Maybe try again and it will go through. If the problem persists check with your bank and make them aware of that issue, because when you have the amount on your account for that buy it shouldn't be a problem at all. Now my bank changed to Mastercard, but it is also again with debit and I still have no problems with it. Why should I? Because the amount is available and that is all it needs for a purchase.

PS. Please let me know if you could solve it, I really want to welcome you by GameHouse.

Lets say you buy a game for $9.99

Gamehouse runs an authorization for $9.99 to reserve funds in your bank but this gets reversed right away when the other charge is run through. So if you pay for Funpass, you better have at least $50 in the bank to make sure the charge goes through. This only happens on debit cards not credit cards.

GH won't talk about personal issues on a public forum. It's better to contact them through the links they provide on the site, or email them at help@gamehouse.com.

BTW, as others have indicated, yes, GH accepts debit cards.

I was using my Visa debit card without a problem but I switched to using Paypal since it is a safer way to pay. If you have a Paypal account, I would recommend that you switch to using it for your payments.

Just a quick point of clarification about PayPal: While PayPal is accepted for game purchases, we do require a credit card or debit card (debit cards must be VISA Debit or MasterCard Debit) to pay for a FunPass or FunTicket membership.
