Billing Issue - User moved from Real Arcade

Just a question to other members who also moved from Real Arcade. I just finished my billing cycle and was on a monthly subscription at Real Arcade and assumed it picked back up here. Well, I was only being charged $4.94 for my subscription at Real Arcade, but now at Game House I am being charged $10.69. I thought it was supposed to stay the same. That is what it says in the FAQs, that our billing amount will stay the same.

I also attempted to find out what plan I am on or the amount of my payment and that is not listed anywhere in my profile or my account.

Is anyone else having these issues?

Promotional pricing, which you recieved probably does not carry over to the new site. But to make up for this, you get 2 credits instead of 1 which might make up for this.

Also, all games from there are only $6.99 a piece.

Hi Janice,

My name is Susan and I'm coming from RA too. In the message confirming the movement of my account, this is a part of what that message says: # GamePass bonus: GamePass members now get TWO free game credits every month (double the credits!) for the same low price. There is absolutely no additional cost. Now that seems pretty black and white to me. I think it would be wrong to state that and then say you really can't have the same deal because it was "promotional pricing". I agreed to a GamePass membership with RA and now that RA and GH are the same I don't understand why your previous membership agreement should change...... Also, paying $10.69 now is more then double what you were paying for and so the 2 credits aren't really a gift, they're just what you are paying for.

Susan

You guys seem to be editing out the $6.99 you pay for each additional game you buy. Previously in RealArcade, you only got a $5.00 discount for applying towards a new game. Well in GameHouse, each game has a fixed price of $6.99

You can even get the new Bejeweled Twist for that price! Try going into Walmart or Best Buy and see if they extend that discount to you.. I DONT THINK SO!

I got Bejewled Twist off Real when it first came out and it was full price, but what they did is give you an extra credit because they had to sell it for full price.

I don't buy a lot of games per month. However, my concern is that we were told one thing and I was charged another. I want to know what the actually membership price is because it is not clear. I still have not heard back from customer support about this issue.

i was a memberof real arcade because i did not want to go to walmart or best buy and the free game was very appealing but you are changing prices without our permission we had a contract and you should honor said contract
i do not want to pay double especially not since i have the hardest time to see my games at all on here

Exactly!!!!!! I have called customer service (they were extremely rude and did not speak English) and I sent customer service an email. I finally received a response by email. They are trying to say I was paying $9.99 a month - but I wasn't and I have bank statements to prove this. I am not sure what my next step will be, but they need to stop charging people without their full consent.
