Unable to play Soccer Cup Solitaire

Game downloads fine, I entered my name and when I click the flag of my choice to begin, the screen goes black, after a few minutes I click my windows button and get one of these two error messages.

Unable to start graphics engine due to improper system configuration.
or
EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION

I'm using a Windows Vista Home Premium
Intel(R) Pentium(R) Dual CPU E2200 @ 2.20GHz
2.00GB RAM
Intel(R) G33/G31 Express Chipset Family
Windows Explorer 9 version 9.0.8112.116421

Help!

I have the same exact symptoms as you are describing so it is not just your PC. I don't have a solution, just wanted to let you know it is not a problem specific to you.

Thank you! It's happening on my husbands PC and he has windows 7 ect.... Ugh!

I also cannot play it on my Win7 64 bit Laptop [4GB ram] and Desktop [ 8GB ram]. Both computers are up to date and I have never had a Gamehouse game that hasn't worked before.
Starts fine, graphics look good, but as soon as the ad box appears [ I presume that is what it is ] after typing in my name, the box stays white, no text or image and everything stops, with the game graphics in the background. I have to force it closed via the Task Manager, where it shows as not responding. If I start again it continues on to the Start Button but again as soon as I press the Play button the white box appears with the same result. Can this be fixed? I'm not seeing any error messages.

Same thing happens to me and all Customer service will do is offer me Live Chat! Why can't they ever accept that THEY are the ones with the problem and just deal with it and post a solution! Seriously wondering if they are worth the money.

Deleted the GH verdsion, downloaded from BFG and no problems ... could be the advert section that was causing the problem.

Thanks so much for that tip redls. I never thought to look there. I wanted to try it for my grandson. I also think it is to do with the ad box.
