I would have fun & keep playing if the game would let me. I need the Gold Inca Idol but only have a key to work with. If I leave this room I can get the pick I need for the Idol. I'm lost. Please help!

I am only 10 minutes in after purchasing the game (so I've been playing maybe 70 minutes) and it keeps crashing. I'm on the Great Wall of China and every time I click on the "mini torches" or "yin" it quits. This is so frustrating and disappointing.
Anyone know how to get past this or do I need to "return" the game?
