Stuck... Ok, at the volcano area. In this episode, I am stuck on how to get to the cliff where the crystals are.

Lagoon, if you read this, can you be an awesome help? You helped me once before on Roads of Rome 2 I believe. I meant to tell you Thank you so much!!

Hi Icapnam,

At the left side it has a balloon station, just left of the cobler, where you have to extinguish the fire and then build it. Now you can fly to the cliff. The crystals show each a green ring around it, when you hoover with your mouse over them, but only when you have enough resources.

Lagoona, Thank you. I will go attempt this now. I remember last time I had everything built up to the max, stocks and buildings and when I would hover my pointer over the crystals it kept saying, blocked. Argg... but nothing was blocking.. I will check it out again, maybe I just missed 1 tiny thing. Sigh. Your help is such a blessing, thank you. Makes my relax time from college a ncie one. I will write later and let you know what happens.

Hi Icapnam,

You are most welcome.

It said that to me as well something is blocking. As soon as the balloon was build I could fly and collect the crystals. By the way be aware, that when the balloon is out for one task, like collecting a crystal, it has to come back for the next task to be activated for collecting the next crystal.

Hi Again, well, here is what I did:
Built all buildings and built them to the highest level (including ballon tower & cobbler)
Had tons of supplies
rebuilt fort too
Even mined the little gold mines next to the mine
chopped all burning trees too and had 4 men.
While getting things maxed out, It still told me crystals were blocked. So I stared at the game for a few moments examining carefully every point on the lilttle site and I completed everything. Still can't get crystals and it still loves to flare the red circle. Oh, once Ihad the ballon built, I tried to get the crystals and it still said blocked. Any other suggests maybe I missed? Sigh.. Thank you so much for your help, I really would be frustrated with this site if people like you didn't offer help. I am most appreciate!!!

Hi Icapnam,

Thank you for your message and you are most welcome.

I send you a screenshot from my replay of Episode 4 Level 5 for you.

I made just the basics, that you can see it should work. when there is no where a viking, who is growling you should be able to access the crystals, after building the balloon station in the screenshot blue circle at the left side. At the top right it showed a green circle, when I was hoovering with my mouse over the red crystal, the area is in a blue circle. Everywhere where you see a mint star, I have build something, in one case I have picked up the portal key, in two cases I clicked on the different colored portals and the last star is your area goal for picking the crystals.

If it still doesn't works try to replay this level. If that is still not okay, please let me know, we might have maybe to uninstall it and delete all the leftover files and reinstall it again. That is if you are okay with replaying the whole game, because you then would start from scratch.

Crazy, it worked. I only build things to their first level and was able to get the goodies!! Glad we did not have to un-install, tho I enjoy the game so it would not have mattered. Lagoona, you are priceless!!!!! Thank you so so mucg!!! Hope you and yours have a great and safe Thanksgiving!!!

I realize this is an old post...I also had this same problem and when all of my buildings and everything were maxed out, I could not get to the crystals and rune. It kept saying it was blocked. I tried to just build everything to one level and I was able to get the crystals. That is too weird. Since I didn't finish the game, after that I added levels and finished the road and fort and was still able to get the crystals. I think it might be a bug, but I was able to finish this level after following your advice and only building to level one. Thanks so much.
