How do I shoot the ghosts in the Armory Hall and smash the ghosts in the Royal Bedroom? Right now, all I have is a cleaning rag. I cannot find anything else.

there seems to be some rooms you haven't cleared yet. Which portraits have you uncovered? did you find the dining room yet? king's room past the armory to the balcony, finish puzzles there and pick up needed items to clear ghosts in the hall. Fairy abilities will help here. Don't forget about hallway off of dining room to dressing room.

I've uncovered all the portraits except the king's, if that's what you mean. I have cleared the dining room and can't get in the dressing room because I don't have the blue key. When you say king's room do you mean the royal bedroom? I have nothing to smash the ghosts with in the royal bedroom and nothing to shoot the ghosts in the armored hallway. I've seen on other messages here mentions of a blunderbuss and a crossbow. Where are they? I'm completely stuck.

there is a balcony off the king's bedroom that has a puzzle with birds, a trunk at the foot of the bed to look into that you will find the crossbow, ask the fairy to help clear the bugs and look under the bed, clear the armory, pick up mirror pieces go into the hallway to find more mirror shards..
.the rag will wipe the mirror clean in the powder room than you can open the drawer...

You have to smash the ghosts with the fairy's rock. Click on her and choose it.

hi kitt, I believe in the armory hall you will need the crossbow to clear the ghosts. Altho, the fairy's abilities will help crush the bugs in the King's chamber's.
