I'm in the room where you must make up potions. Did the first correctly and got the key. Did the second correctly and got through the mirror portal. On the third, it says to make the intelligence potion, but it won't take. Stuck there and cannot go any further. Any help? I have all the ingredients needed, just won't allow me to put the two ingredients necessary (devil's root and deadwood) and then the ether, although I do have the empty bottle. Keeps saying "something's wrong."

Any help gratefully appreciated.

Hi Sablesshadow,

Go back through the portal, into the room with the two doors and click on the portal in the middle of this room.
Now you are in the tower room. Use the bowl on the far right. Add devil's root, deadwood and ether into it and use the empty bottle to fill it with the intelligence potion. Click on it in your inventory to drink it.

Good Luck!
Cheers

Thank you so much, Lagoona. I was doing the right things in the wrong room, lol. I thought I should have been in the room with the mirror, where all the other potions were concocted.

A million thanks - I would have been hopelessly stuck without your kind reply.

It's really kind how much help you provide players... much appreciated.

Hi Gamelover76,

Tower: Click on the brick (right of the ladder) sticking out of the wall to turn the desk. Behind it is a key. Unfortunately you can't collect it, it has a magical barrier around it.
Room with the fireplace, where you have done your first spell: On the shelves at the left side is a note which tells you how to make a scroll that dispels energy fields. Pick it up and click on your journal and read this note, which you have to do to use it. Now the game is triggered to let you create this scroll (or when you have already done all this, let you use the scroll) to fetch the key in the tower.

Good Luck!

this game is so good just figure out the spells for each chapter.for each chapter just remember the 2 spells thats all it takes.take the big jar to the 2 portal and go were u got the ingredients from and get the rest of the water out of the big bowl that is on the floor .and then u take it to the 1 portal.now you will see a big black bowl and thats were you put the water out of the big jar and then you put devils root and deadwood in and answer the ?.then you will go to the 4 portal and their you will see a man sitting down.and go from their.just know that everthing is done with spells.

I'm in the workshop trying to assemble the shards of glass - puzzle. I can't turn the shards, though I can see where they're supposed to go. Without some sort of turning individual shards, I can't get them to fit...HELP!
(Cause now I guess I need to have it fixed, and get this yellow glas (with fish-image-to-be) as polarised glas for vault etc)

Hi Brok1,

I think I might have right clicked the shards to turn them in this game, after using the glue and placing the shards on the tray.

Some games are turning when you left click and hold the mouse button down until you have the position you want, Some of them are with the right click. Some of the puzzles do have around the item, when you click on it half circle arrows (clockwise and anticlockwise), which you have to use.

Good Luck and let me know if it works, thanks.

Hi Lagoona (S), it's me again...good news and slightly anoying news...
The good news is: it didn't take me al night and I FINISHED THE GAME! YEAH! All this thanks to your advise earlier on. HOORAY!
Today I thought, lets do this again'. Still enjoyed playing. Game is very cleverly build. But then, at the House of Machines-stage. I got stuck in the bedroom with the oil-valve-puzzle.The slightly anoying news is: I'll need several posts to explain, so carry on reading...

...continue:Can't remember how I managed it the previous game, but since I finished that game, I must have succeded 'solving' this puzzle (cause the bed moved, and lateron, tilted --> I could descend down the stairs etc.). Now (2nd attempt), however I manipulate the valves (obviously the oil-can has been applied), the 2 arrowed-levers in the middle won't move from left to right. Tried different order of switching each valve, duration of open/close, checked the book again with the crude drawing of the way valves work, etc. Observed the flow of oil (bubbles), tried just about anything to make the levers move (and so move/tilt the bed) but alas, no succes. Continue in part 3...

...Part 3: So, either during the first game (t.i. 1st attempt which resulted in victory in the final) I was very very lucky (still it took me multiple tries...how frustrating when levers return to original position) or, and this is the slightly anoying part: MAYBE THIS GAME SELF-DESTRUCTS AFTER FINISHING COMPLETE GAME. Well obviously not, but maybe I'll have to try again making a new 'pofile' player first, or have to delete the Champion-profile (t.i. ME) before attempting to play the game again. Is there anyway that you can resolve this? Wanting to succeed a second time might be overdoing it...I know. I can live with myself (no problemo) if a second attempt will never be possible. But I hope for a quick-fix solution and request your help....
Oww...now it's 07.15 u on (sunday) 11th of March, Local time for me (CET)...so g'day and happy Sunday!

Dearest Lagoona (or S , whatever you prefer best)
Again, your help has been sublime! Just finished the game for the second time, wow. Couldn't have done it on my own, without your tips&tricks, so many many thanks again to you. I guess the bottom line is I think too much but definitely not always in the right direction...but I do enjoy these type of games a lot! And it's hard to find one that isn't too obvious or repetetive (boooooring) and this game definitely had more to it than the main-stream thingies I've tried (and discarded after play, without even the thought of a second try.) So, apart from the MCF's (like Ravenhearst-seaquel, I loved those) any recommended (by you) hidden object/adventure/puzzle-games for me to purchase?
Cheers to you!
Brok1 Fleur (on my side: it's 21.37 CET on Sunday the 11th of march)

Hi Fleur,

What for an amazing name....flower.... WOW.

You are most welcome! I am always glad to hear, that my tricks and tips really help.

You can call me however you like, Susan or Lagoona.

First of all I would like to share a secret with you, that is posting it all in one message. You write one line and post your message. Go to the bottom of the thread and Click on Edit this post and you can write as much as you like and you can post it without any limitation.

P.S. I figured out, that we in Western Australia are about 8 hours in advance from your place.

Now titles of games which have HO, Puzzles and a Storyline it gives so many GH offers. Which ones did you already played? that makes it easier to list.
Some of the newest titles, which I liked playing - and they are all not boring at all:
Oddly Enough - Pied Piper, Unsolved Mystery Club - Ancient Astronauts, House of 1000 Doors, Sacra Terra - Angelic Night, Odysseus - Long Way Home, Mountain Crime - Requital, Committed - The Mystery of Shady Pines, Green Moon, Lost Lagoon2 - Cursed and Forgotten, Mystery Legends - The Beauty and the Beast, Midnight Mysteries - The Devil of the Mississippi, Three Musketeers Secrets - Constance Mission, Schoolmates - The Magical Bracelet, The Jolly Gang's Misadventures in Africa, The Fool, The Seawise Chronicles - Untamed Legacy, Twisted Lands - Insomniac, Voodoo Whisperer - Curse of a Legend, Weird Park - Broken Tune, Red Crow Mysteries - Legion, Princess Isabella - Return of the Curse, Dreamland Extended Edition.

Let me know, when you want more ideas of good games. I have a lots more under my sleeve.

Cheers
Lagoona
