the image hinting is nice. the ambience is nice. the haunting voice is nice. ...

i havent been far but if i do all this and all die it doesnt make it fun (i dont like all/most finding to be in vain ... i mean whats the point in the story if it is the same ending all the time ?)

and what does "he met the hessian on his nightly roam" mean ?? did he die or escape ??? "meeting" isnt the same as ... he met his fate on the hessians nightly roam ... which was not the phrase used but that would have been more dramatic and maybe told us more.

game players HATE inconsistency and WRONG names, ESPECIALLY in limited non-rechargeable hidden object games

1 scene called for 3 TRUMPETS
trombones and sousaphones (maybe not right name) are NOT trumpets !
i think the other was but i did not confirm before it disppeared. though it WAS a horn instruments.

1 scene called for 2 board games which were isentified as such
another scene called for 1 board game and one of the above was NOT accepted though in picture a wasted click and/or hint.

other pumpkins (a hint restorer) were visible in the corn field though not cut.

i think that a bridle (on the horse in picture) IS part of a harness which was asked for. bridle was a wasted click. (ref" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Horse_harness search for bridle on page)

another issue is that pictures do not match worded action.
in one case the hessian kills with an axe but a sword is plainly in his hands.

for correct pinnings ... the little balls on left DO not fly away.

you need to remember which corks you have poked with each pin untill you find the right one.

if i recall there is one or 2 more hint balls than there are pins.

it is not random pinning each time you play (about 3 or 4 times for whole game),

try to see if the walkthrough helps (it shows the positions of the pins).

from walkthrough:
•Pick up one of the colored pins that is on the right side and place it on one of the corks in the doll.
•Put them all back in the right place to win the game.
•If the pins are placed incorrectly, one of the coins on the side will disappear and the cork will turn red.
•If the pin is in the right place, the it will lock in automatically.
•To remove an incorrect pin, simply click on it again and place it where you want it to go.

chap 5 parson
white head
red heart
purple (dools) right foot

one partial hint for later
purple heart
red eye (or red head)
white right foot (dolls)

interstingly another voo doo is a purple heart too.
