Mystery Legends, Sleepy Hollow

This game will not allow me to progress beyond the old man at the old covered bridge. It keeps telling me to check for lantern which I already found and that by clicking on the item in the list box (fishing hook) it will show me where the item is hidden. This does not happen. I keep going back and forth to find it, the picture darkens to a dark red which I believe is telling me I am being penalized for incorrect clicks.

yes that is an issue with sleepy hollow. it says that something is a place ... but i found out that more often than not that the item was so hidden (especially near bottom above the interface ... that i sometime only had a smidge of an item ... even with pictures that is had. (though another game hides as much as 3/4 of the items behind something else ... so this wwa lucky ....

anyways the hook if i recall is on the bridge front or part of the wat down the bridge top. now it may look like it is showing the lantern but if you set your brightness and contrast up you may see that there actully is a VERY FAINT item there.

if this is NOT the hooks and shells puzzle ... then the only hook i see in walkthrough is to the left of the horizontal bar on the front of the bridge.

hopefully you are playing in relaxed mode (and not timed)?

frustrating !!! objects too light to be seen
as well as some misnamed ones (if i recall a trable clef is called a note).
