What is the best way to get thru this one. I seem to either hit to fast or too slow

The only way I got through the hitting mini games is by cheating (and I got a score that said it was better than the developers top score)

To cheat: One hand on the mouse and the other on the escape key. As soon as a creature appears (the first one is wasps - there are others) hit the escape key which will pause the game. Then get in position to hit the creature (wasps in the first one) Hit escape again to un-pause the game. As soon as you hit the creature, hit escape to pause the game and get into position to hit the next creature. Continue pause / un-pause until you have hit all the creatures. I absolutely hate all the mini games in this version. The first kingdom for the princess I absolutely loved the mini games - but I almost demanded a refund for this one until I discovered how to cheat and get through the hitting mini games.

Wasps are the first the other mini games have ghosts, snakes, and a couple of others.

Agree 100%. I HATE these mini-games. Love the actual game play, but these "swatting games" are miserable. Thanks for the hint on a work-around so I'm not tearing my hair out or just plain giving up.

I am going to try your advise. I thought it was my mouse and went out and brought a new cordless mouse and keyboard. I loved the first game and I love this one except for the stupid mini games. I am dreading the next mini game on the next level. I am having trouble getting through the wolves attacking. It is to bad they had to ruin the game with these stupid mini games.

I have to agree also. I don't mind mini games, but these are terribly hard for me to conquer since I have arthritis in my fingers!!! I usually have to ask a grandchild to do it for me...if there are any around. I just keep my finger on my mouse and keep hammering if there are no kids here. Sometimes, I get through after wasting a couple of hours.

Thanks to everyone. I will try the "cheat" way to get through the nasty wolves. Thanks again. I agree with ya'll the mini games are the pits. I love the game, but they could have done without the mini's.

Thank you all for the "cheat" tips. I hate cheating. But I am 65 years old...and no grandchildren around to ask for help. I hope the game developers realise that quite a few senior citizens while away their time playing these games...and our reflexes are not as good as theirs..or those of younger people. They should allow us to get on with the game by skipping these levels. I loved MKP, bit was MOST disappointed when my reflexes would not allow me to proceed with the game. Game Developers...are you listening?!! Anyway someone has devised a cheat method. Will attempt it. Thanks for the tips everyone.
