I am too. The mini game of the pay phone in the Viking era doesn't work....
I have the correct phone number to dial, but can't dial it. I have seen this same complaint come up a number of times on other forums, but no one has actually given a reason as to why it works for some and not for others.
Any help on this??

Is there a walk through for this game I also cannot get passed the telephone puzzle and so I am stuck have tried everything please can someone help?

Hi I have found out why the phone number will not work you have to go back up the flag and you will get a set of different numbers the only problem is you have to restart the game from the begining becaus once you have completed the village it wll not let you go back into it to go up the flag hope this works for you cheers

Phone booth. The phone number is a combination contained in a flag in the shipyard

Make sure your 4th number is 0 (not 4).

I'm stuck in Port Royal
Two puzzels to solve - All pcs found, can only "Go Underwater", no other 'clues' show on screen by cursor.
Stuck in Fort Monarch
One puzzle to solve - Gov. Office, Gov Jones - Need to find missing map fragment.
One pc to find - looks like a grey steel mask.
Stuck in Black Shark
One puzzle to solve - Cap. Edward Red - "Try making a loud noise".
One pc to find - map fragment for Gov. Office at Ft. Monarch
Stuck in Blue Island
Three puzzles to solve - In Temple, what goes in "empty slot"?
Need to "dig" at "Treasure Spot" but cannot locate shovel head and the handles is not shown in the to find window.
Have the Spyglass and Hammer but neither of these items work for any of the puzzles to solve listed above.
Love the game - please help!!

help have downloaded mortimer but the exe.file will not load cant play waited excitedly to play and cant boohoo is anyone out there having the same problem if so how did you fix it please help

The tele phone no. 7530268, dial it from the tavern it will take you to the phone both where you'll collect the second ear of the jackle

Port Royal - Underwater (loud noise):
Place the hammer on the chain that is on the top left side and you will see a monster named Leviathan come out of the hole that is on the right side of the ship. He asks you to bring him the spyglass.
If you need more help try the walkthrough on gamezebo. Good luck!

Stuck in the French Revolution, chateau, cabinet w/solder, lady & flowers etc. HELP before I throw my laptop across the room. New to Mortimer and frustrated.

I am Stuck with that cabinet also and even tried run a second game to see if I missed anything and then I got the birds , girl and baker, with the same results. still stuck. HELP PLEASE!

I am at 817 AD and cannot figure out how to open the door with the three heads on it and also can't do the puzzle with the different colored rocks to put in rows. Help. rottie

My experience with the Mortimer Beckett series is that is has taken me a while to get used to this type of format. I happened to read a post from a GH gamer who indicsted he used Gamezebo for assistance - so I went to the site and voila! all the help you need for any game. Try it - unfortunately GH does not have something similar for its members. Getting stuck is not fun - it's frustrating and waiting for someone to answer your particular situation can take way too long. And even sometimes no one gives any help no matter how many times you post a problem. Please GH - why can't you have this type of help? Some other game sites do not even charge a fee to belong and they have walkthroughs. I have been a GH member for nearly 10 years now and really have enjoyed the experience -- but isn't it time to get with it!!!

For some reason we can't seem to get past the western level. We have checked all over the different screens to see if there is some place for the socks and wine opener to take us to the next protal.

First you put the phone number in on the phone in the viking hut. Next go to the phone booth and a small piece will now be on top ( i think it was the cat ear). It only lets you put the number in right once. Hope this helps.

You have to find the little story that tells you what order the things go into. I dont remeber it all but it starts girl, lighthouse cat i think.
