if you mean the columns containing hieroglyphocs, there are 2 sets of clues. one is from Cleopatra (in Cairo) - just click on her. the other is on the wall in another section, behind the monk - you need to click on the design, and it will save to the clues book. you will have to give the monk what he wants beofre he will move.

I'm guessing you mean that you only have puzzle items left to find and you need puzzle items to get them (or so it seems lol). I don't know whereabouts you are in the level. There isn't so much a proper sequence other than needing certain clues to continue - I have played it a few times and gone in a different order - obviously you come to a dead end every now and then and need a clue. I have finished the main game and can't put the artefacts in the right order! At least I'm sure they are in the right order but nothing happens!!!

how do you find what the monk wants also what is the correct constellation i have had the stars in every direction i muster but to no avail

Alxia, did you speak to the monk? (Click on him) He'll give you a direct clue to what he needs. I got stuck in the pyramid awhile with that constellation. Get the other clues first, as the constellation is part of a reward. Shangai, be sure the artefacts belong to the right eras!

click on the monk, he will tell you what he wants. as i recall the "stars" clue is in the boarder of the sarcophagus...i was ready to get out my old textbooks!

I'm stuck in Egypt as well. I know the monk wants food, but the only food I have is a watermelon, and he said no to that! I've gotten all the misplaced things (I think), so now what?? And, I need to find puzzle pieces to solve puzzle pieces to find puzzle pieces . . . why do I torture myself with these things???

The monk wants fish...do you have a fishing net in your items? (looks a bit like a birdcage iirc!) Do you have a set of oars? (They look like red-painted clubs for some reason, had me confused for a bit 
)
There is a river to your left in one of the locations, looks like you may have to get your fish the old-fashioned way!

I found the fish. I got through everything except placing the ornament. The Gamezebo walkthrough said that the ornament goes on athe golden head on the top left. Cannot find it. Please help. Thanks.
