SPYWARE with fix canceling account

I just got an email that the issue with logging in was fixed well low and behold when I downloaded it I get the pop up from personal virus scanner saying my computer is infected. I know this is spyware and a pain to get rid of. I canceled out and uninstalled and I will be canceling my account with Gamehouse due to this issue. I have had nothing but problems with GH since the switch from real arcade and I don't appreciate this latest issue with this nasty pop up.
Just wanted everyone to be aware that they may get this so don't bother to download unless you want to deal with this..Game isn't worth it.

Just an update....I received an email from tech support that says they are AWARE of this issue of the pop up and are working to fix it and will let me know as soon as it is take care of....Meanwhile just a heads up for anyone downloading it to be on the lookout of the pop up for this virus scanner. DO NOT download it what ever you do it is malware. It is very persistent so just keep closing it or it that doesn't work....you can do a forced shutdown. Hitting Ctrl-Alt- Delete will usually work as well.

Our engineers are researching the pop-up messages being reported in our Forums along with a few other variants to isolate the source of these "warnings."

GameHouse is not sponsoring these ads. In the past we have seen instances of malware that will scan a PC's browsing history to identify frequently visited URLs, which the malware then targets to mimic either a security threat associated with that website or a sponsorship by the respective company or organization. We have not confirmed whether the instances being reported in this topic are the same scenario; thus we are researching the situation as a high priority to determine the cause.

Meanwhile I apologize for your frustration and inconvenience; I'll post more information as I learn it from our engineers.
