Not in my case. My sister is running 2000 and the game plays fine, I'm on Vista and get huge Blank Page pauses between scene changes. Downloaded several times... no luck.... changed to Admin - did everything. not a good game and from what I read, it's best part is the opening scene

in my case i HAVE XP but part of the way through chapter 3 or 4 the background turns black in fullscreen but the foreground with items still shows. in windowsd mode all is o.k for now.
