in the HOG behind the green door at the upside down home, I have the tamburine but can't find where to connect it to find hazelnuts....any ideas?

Use the tambourine on the mouse. it's below the horse's head on some books, I think.

In the middle of the picture you will find a little dark colored mouse, shake the tamburine at it and you find the nuts.
