Match 3 - very slow and sluggish

Just d/l'd this morning...love the game, but the match 3 is soooooo slow and sluggish! Am running Win XP; Intel Pentium 4 with 2.8 GHz motherboard mem; 1.25 GB ram; tons of HD space. Have performance options set to: Programs for Processor sched. and Mem. usage. Still very very slow!!!! Help! What else can I do to speed up this match 3 game????

Same problem. Took four minutes to unfreeze. Now I'm not that far in and there is no way to win this level. Sigh, and it's so cute too. Very frustrating.

Sometimes it is a cursor problem. By some games you can change the custom cursor in the option menu. By this game this option doesn't exist. I played it in windowed mode, because the cursor was less sluggish. So I have a slow cursor and on top I could advance very far, suddenly the game board moved downwards and with all my settings and all the tries (screen resolution and different compatibility modes) I can't get the bottom part of the board into the picture. So no more play on this game!!! I agree it is a cute game, but for me now totally unplayable.
