I have recently bought the full version of Jewel Quest III for the Mac and progressed by 67% but have hit the buffers/brick wall in other words got to the end of where I can go please someone HELP. I have got Europe left as a hidden quest. the Hidden quest is at first level and it says it is undiscovered but the Silver is completed and the Gold Quest locked. There seems to be a clue that you follow the same 3 first moves as your opponent but not clear if this is every screen or just one and whilst I have completed that on a couple all the zones show completed anyway.
I have also got Africa with Hidden Undiscovered the Silver Completed and the Gold locked and there are no clues I can see here to unlock the hidden portion and all screens show completed in the Goal. and I have eastern Asia in red and the gold quest locked.
All other countries are completed please can someone tell me how to move on?

Did you finish all 3 levels for each country? There is silver, hidden, & gold. After you finish all the silver locations in a country, you will need to finish the hidden level. You will be using the same cities in the country but the goal is usually different than with the silver so be sure to read the directions. For ex: you only have to complete one city on the hidden level but you may have to have 4 coins in a row to accomplish the goal and finish that level.
After finishing the hidden level you may need to finish the gold level before moving on. The gold level is like the silver but much harder. You may need to jump around between countries and levels but when u sign in it will take you to where you need to work

Make sure you read the instructions for the goal for the hidden level because sometimes it is different than what you did for the silver level. On the challenge where you are playing against an opponent you are not trying to copy them you are trying to beat them. There is a number assigned for each goal, for example, whoever reaches 34 first wins, and you have to take turns so you want to get the maximum squares per turn so that you reach the goal first and win.

Now I have a question. Has anyone out there beat the gold level for Iceland? I have completed all the cities but just can't seem to beat the city of Hekla. I have come close but just can't seem to beat it and I have tried hundreds of times. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions on how to beat this one? Thanks so much

If you start out where he is twice your score just start over because you won't be able to catch up. Eventually you will be able to beat him. I did. It's maddening but eventually you will be able to do it. When I was in Iceland, I would only play about 3-4 times a day so I wouldn't lose my mind.

Also have a problem with Pacific Northwest, hidden quest-The objective is unclear to me, "Completet the board using no more than 3 white pearls". I tried completing the board without lining up more than 3 white pearls, tried ending with no more than 3 white pearls on the board, but neither work. Can someone please please tell me what I'm supposed to do.

I have Jewel Quest II I got so frustrated with that game on the super hard i gave up after months of trying to complete the puzles. This is different, I just don't understand what to do. with Pacific Northwest Hidden Quest. Please Help.

Hi Mary
I have completed Iceland and yes Hekla is super hard but it is possible. Try making sure that you have two identical tiles on the bottom two slots on the outside columns, left and right, and try to get the third up from the bottom to match them. If you launch the game and they are not identical just restart until they are, it may take some time, it took weeks for me but it could just as easily take no time, just depends on luck as to how soon you get them identical. There is a full walkthrough with a picture of what I have said above here : http://www.gamezebo.com/download-games/jewel-quest-iii/walkthrough Good luck Cleo

Hi

I have been asked to check a laptop for a friend of mine who has this game. It does not seem to run in full screen. Even when I tick Full Screen in options, all it does is create a black background and that's it.

Is it possible to have this game in true full screen?

The laptop is a Windows 7 Home Premium with 2Gb of Ram.

Thanks

Answer:
I was a bit unsure on the Europe Hidden Quest but what you must do is copy the first 3 moves of either Hani or Emma whichever you are playing - what I did was watch what the first 3 moves were then did the same otherwise if you try to do them at the same time as them you get confused and do them wrongly. When you have done this for only one city you have completed the Hidden Quest and you will be awarded the jewel.

To complete the Hidden Quest in Europe you just have to copy exactly the first 3 moves of your opponent who is either Emma or Hani. To do this watch their 3 first moves then do them yourself. If you try to do them when they are doing them you will get confused and do the wrong ones. You only have to do this on one board for one city and then you will be awarded the jewel.

I am on 58% and I have also completed the Silver, but Hidden is undiscovered and the Gold is still locked - these will only open up after you have done certain other countries and levels and the game will show which ones you can do after you complete every one.

Hope this helps.

I'm currently trying to complete the Hidden Quest in China but not having any luck although I am getting the monkeys locked in the cages without letting any monkeys escape the cities are not changing from blue to gold and I am not being awarded the jewel.

I am stuck at 47%. I have completed all the Silver Quests and can't figure out how to move on. Every time I go to a different country the locations there are either "Locked" or "Completed". What am I doing wrong? There are 2 different Hidden Quests but when I go to them they also are either locked or completed (I can't remember which). There is one red stone but when I go to it I get a message with something like "We will come back to that later" Can't remember the message exactly but it won't let me do anything. I have gont to some of the countires that I have already completed and re-did some of the locations there to see if the color would change but it would not. Please help.

Your words are true for a way to cross the continent of Europe by repeating movements played Emma, Hani, I am now in 63% of the game, a game interesting and beautiful, but its flaws how to cross the levels, not all people are geniuses and very note and I hope the forum or supervisors clarify the stages of the game pictures, or map, if possible, until the perfect game

I am going to re-install my windows. How can I save my files?

The previous time I was 41% in game, I copied and pasted the save file to new windows but after installing the game, it didn't recognize them and I had to start from 0% with new name.
Now, I am 71% on game and want to reinstall the windows, what should I do to keep my records?

There is a message in the book before each quest that tells you what you need to do to successfully complete hidden quest. You cannot progress to the gold levels on the quests you want to complete unless you complete the preceding hidden quest. The book before each location gives you the clues you need to successfully complete that area. You have to do that before you can move onto the next, although you are free to go back and do over boards in areas that you have already completed, but this would not advance your percentage. You cannot unlock the gold level in East Asia until the Gold level in China is completed. If you need to know exactly what you need to do next, leave the map room and reenter it. The globe will position itself on the quest you need to work on next to advance. Hold the CTRL key down and this will show you only the gold and uncompleted squares with all the jewels gone (of course they don't go anywhere, it's just a visual aid).

Remember to leave the map room and re-enter it if you need to know which quest to do next, and right before the specific area, the book will tell you exactly what you need to do to complete the hidden quest. You only have to do this once -- pick a location within an area that works for you, complete the task according to the instructions, and you will get the jewel and it will unlock the gold level in the next area. You do not have to complete all locations in any one area of a hidden quest to advance. But you have to follow the instructions in the hidden quest to the letter, plus you still have to finish the board within the time allotted to get the jewel.

There might even be a hidden quest after Gold level China, but that level is hard enough I may not see it for a while. Trapping the monkeys in the cage and holding them there is hard enough.

I have read the info about the hourglass, the token that you win, and it says there may be a way to use it to extend the time, so I have been experimenting with clicking and dragging it to the area I need to complete. I'm trying different combinations of doing this, and maybe the other jewels will make the boards easier, but the game is hard enough now where I need some help, because it's taken nearly two years just to get to the 69% level. That's after one area completed in the Gold level China.

You cannot let any monkeys fall off the board before you have them locked in the cage first. Put the monkeys in the cage on any one of the China Hidden quest level and do not let any monkeys fall off the bottom, then complete the board, then you will get the jewel. Pick the board with the fewest cages. I did it after about five tries. Now i am on the Gold level in China at 69%

There is a folder in the following location that contains all your data. Copy it whenever you need to back it up to a jump drive or data disc, then you can reinstall it on demand. Simply replace the old folder with the one you backed up, or you can use your backup to replace a new installation of the game:

C:\Users\public\public documents\iWin\Jewel Quest 3

When this happens you typed in a different user name, even if you missed one character, deleted or added a space at the end. Check the name in the guest book and try again. Also, you can verify which names you have in your guest book in the following location: Windows only:

c:\users\public\public documents\iWin\Jewel Quest 3

Click on the folder in that location, and it will show you the exact names of players in your guest book. It is suggested that you back up this folder from time to time, then you can reinstall it on demand.

You have to do the hidden quests in the right sequence. When you leave the map room and reenter it, the globe will be positioned on the area you need to work on next. Follow the clues in the book before each location for an area to complete the hidden quest, then that will unlock the next silver or gold level.

You have to complete the hidden quest in Pac NW level (just one board) without letting any pearls fall off. Follow the instructions in the book before the location exactly and it will unlock the next level.

BEATING SEBASTIAN--GOLD LEVEL, SOUTH AMERICA.

You have to let Sebastian move first. If he gets more than 4 points on the first move, restart the board.

If he gets more than five points ahead, restart the board.

Ensure that you get 3 or 4 jewels with each turn and not just two.

If the game ends up in a tie, you will get the location the same as if you had won.

Persistence pays off, but you have to watch carefully to make the most points with each move and not set up Sebastian to make more points.

On some boards, I had to restart 10 times until he got 3 or 4 points on the first move. If you are ahead by one point exactly and there is one square left, help Sebastian to get it, because it will count as a win if you or he gets it (tie score / same as win).
