I recently purchased Heros of Hellas 2 with a fun pass credit. I cannot get passed the first level. It keeps throwing me out and saying it has encountered a problem and had to close. What should I do?

I am between metropolis & the city of light & when I release the key that is supposed to unlock the bottom three locks - it does nothing and when you try to finish the level you can't. The locks never go away because the key didn't do anything. Help!!!!
