Game cannot start after saving

Sometimes this game does not save correctly. I currently have two profiles that do not work correctly. Symptom: start the game, pick a profile, click Play, get a message that says that the game may not have loaded correctly, please try again. Try again. This time the game appears to load, but the background is entirely black. If you click on the bubble machine you get bubbles, but the background stays black. If you click on the book there's a whooshing sound as if the book is opening, but you don't get a display.

After the first time this happened I created a new profile and started again. I saved successfully a couple of times, but then today when I tried to play, I got the same error. This is very frustrating. I contacted support and they suggested that I reinstall the game (didn't help), try playing in safe mode, try upgrading my video drivers, close background processes, etc. If I needed to do any of those things, why would the game work at all? What seems likely is that the save file is corrupted in some way, and needs to be fixed, and that the game needs to be fixed so that it stops creating bad save files.

Hi agamegirl, your not the only one that is having these problems with this game. i too think it has something to do with the save file. up to now there are about 5 or 6 other people who are being told the same thing. if you click all posts you will find us.

Thanks, lynnb, I thought I was looking at all of the posts but I wasn't. I did tell the support person I spoke to that they should be contacting the developers for a fix, and I hope they do that.

I am really disappointed. I have almost beat the game to start having this problem. This makes me not want to purchase anymore games from them.

im having the same problem, saved it and now i cant get into it, theres been a few problems on here lately with games that dont work or wont save. Im not starting from the beginning again as im more than half way through it. Gamehouse support is rubbish, they dont listen or just tell everybody the same thing, its a problem with their computer, funny how we all have the same problem with different computers.!!!!!!

Hi you all,

Try to set your shortcut under Admin or Administrator. If you have a password to enter, you have to set that aswell.

I could play the full version of this game without any problems. It's a good game and worth the effort!
