Wow, this game sounds so cool to play, I'd love to try it, but unfortunately, ever since I downloaded and installed it, I keep getting a message that says "An error has occurred, please close the game and try again later. Error code -1000. close window."
This happens every time I try to run the game. This is the second time I've downloaded and installed it, the first time, every time I tried to start up the game, I was told I need to have a connection to the internet in order to play. But I AM connected to the internet. This is the second game I have had this exact problem with. The other one is called XIII - Lost Identity. Both are new downloads for me.
Anyone else have this problem or know how I can fix it? I'd love to play.

Hi Idm72742,
In the room before you go left to the lab, it's a some sort of storage room you use a nail to tear open one of the big cloth bags at the bottom right side and you will find coffee beans.

OK, I truly love this game. Well I did after I finally figured out that you have to get the book just inside the basement door before you get any hints
Now that is fixed my BIGGEST problem is How in HADES can I cheat to get the right fish with the key in its belly after the Fisherman's hut??? I have been fishing for well over 3 hours now and NONE of the fish are right. I even tried the walkthrough for a snap shot and no matter, none of the fish are the right one.
HELP!!!! There has to either be a cheat to bypass this fishing or some how skip this and get the key???

I'm so lost! I'm at the point of finding the three stones and I don't have a clue where to get them! Also, how do I get the cook's notebook to make dishes for the king? You can't make the meals without it. And what about the guy who's pen/quill broke? I tried giving him a feather but nothing happens.

By me it was the third fish I caught. It is a fish with a little belly, the others are flat. You don't see the key inside the fish.
Click on the clear button and go back to the fishing spot. Wait until the line is really tight and then click on the water. As soon as you have a fish with a belly click the done button and you have the key, which goes directly into your inventory.
You should actually be able to catch the right fish in no time.

Broken Quill: The pen for the governor is in the drawer of the bedside table. He will be so happy that he gives you a sapphire.
Cook Book: After giving the cook a slice of pizza you get the certificate to see the king. When you have to start to cook, read first the recipes of the cook book at the top left. Left click on it to read and right click to close it. You can only make 3 dishes, for the rest you don't have the items. It's # 5, #10 and #13. At the bottom right you have a trash bin, where you always place the leftovers from your chopping board. You get a diamond from the king.
Moonstone: Space travel (pink) to the temple. click onto the middle of the calender to collect a topaz. Travel back home. Time travel (blue) to the ruins. Use the topaz on the one yellow eyed ancient statue. You collect a piece of chalk. Enter the cave and use the chalk for drawing an x on the back wall. Walk right and draw an other x right beside the black rectangle. Go Forward, Right, Forward, Left and Forward again to collect the moonstone. Space travel home.
