Just a simple question. In Angus Johnson's Help File Explanation of the SwordFish Pattern he shows that the Example also has a reciprocal Swordfish pattern.
Question: Do all SwordFish Patterns have a Reciprocal Pattern.?

I'd never heard of the Swordfish Pattern before I read your question, so thank you for introducing me to some Sudoku strategy. In Googling the term, I found the following website. I don't know if it will contain the answer you seek, but it's probably a good place to ask.

Hi Kenr77, The reciprocal function

I think that Angus Johnson meant the function of Swordfish Pattern is reciprocal in his showed example = self-inverse or one another, each an other!

Expressed it in a mathematical term:
The function f(x) that maps x to 1/x.

Answer to your question: not all Swordfish Pattern have a Reciprocal Pattern
