I need some help! I have downloaded this game, log in screen comes up but then I get
a black screen with a box at the top that says " Frankenstein.exe has encountered a
problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
I have uninstalled and reinstalled, rebooted, cleared cache and temp files etc., but the
same message keeps coming up. I am running windows xp. Tried downloading with
AV on and off, firewall on and off, but no luck. The game is downloading 31.6 MG.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
KHC

I am having the same problem as you with this game. They need to correct this frustrating problem so people can actually play this game!

Don't even bother... the game was so short and not even that enjoyable. Its not worth it.

Same problem here with the closing. Why doesn't gamehouse do a trial run to see if these games actually work, it's not the first, or second or third.... time this has happened.

Hello everyone, thank you for posting your experiences with Frankenstein - The Dismembered Bride. We apologize for your inconvenience and disappointment and we already have some of our team working to resolve the issue. It would help us greatly if you would please email our Customer Support Team with your computer system's configuration obtained via the DirectX Diagnostic Tool. Here's how to obtain the configuration information:

1. Click the "Start" button, then "Run" from the "Start" menu.

2. Type "dxdiag" (but without quotation marks) in the box marked "Open:"

3. Click OK.

The DirectX Diagnostic Tool window will open and begin processing (you should see the progress bar in the lower left of that window). Once the diagnostic has finished running:

1. Click "Save All Information."

2. Under "Save As" accept the default "DxDiag" file name and "Text File (*.txt)" file type and save to your Desktop.

3. Then compose a new email message to Customer Support:

a. attach the "DxDiag.txt" file from your Desktop.
b. write a description of the problem you are encountering.
c. please include any error messages you received.
d. send to: support@gamehouse.com

We realize this may seem like a lot of effort when you're already frustrated over the problems you're experiencing. It will, however, allow your issue to be logged into our Support Tracking system, which our Customer Support and Development Teams access and collaborate on to fix any problems with the game.

Thank you for your patience and understanding, but more important thank you for being a GameHouse Club member! We appreciate your business and support.
